Why not? Chances are everywhere. If 2017 is enough for this speculation to happened? No reason for not believing on it as there are many things to considered as factor why bitcoin price should reached the $4,000 or even more.

Since the comeback from dipping point after the ETF subject, the price tremendously goes forward with only little dips established on the way. No large price decrease happened and we can noticed that the support for every small dips are impressive. We can expect a price decrease and that is normal but that's enough reason why the price shouldn't reached $4,000 before the year ends.

I think it is possible.  If we see how fast the bitcoin price increase rally, there is no doubt $3000 BTC is just some weeks away.  As long as there will be no FUD to appear, I believe bitcoin will reach $4000 at the end of 2017.

No i dont think the price would rise rapidly like that, yeah we are now in the middle of the year but we need a big news that can make the price rise doubled because we just touched $2000.

If we see the price in this May (have gone up 100% from the month of april) doesn't seem to hard to reach $4 k, I'm very optimistic price bitcoin can reach $4 k in this year (maybe 3 months again).
