Hi emage, Bitnet Token is not in any way related to Bancor Network Token. The idea behind BNET is unique, so is everything else, and has nothing to do with other tokens. Each ERC20 smart contract has a unique address, so anyone can easily see the difference. Thank you for taking interest! |

Who draw your attention towards BNT ticker he wanted to say you need to have unique ticker for your token. There can not be two tokens with same ticker and at this point you can easily replace it with some proper ticker as it is just in early stages. This will be first step in right direction.

Yes there is a minimum of course, I personally see it as an easy goal to be accomplished. If ICO goes well Bitnet Token's influence will be faster and stronger. If not things will go a bit slower, but we will keep working on BNT in either of those two scenarios. |

We were well aware of Bancor since day 1, but did not see the ticker name as an issue. Bitnet is community driven open source platform, so we decided to organize a pool today within our team about the ticker name.
Pool result will be published here within next 24h max.
We are always 100% open to any suggestions, not just ticker related.

We understand that what you said is a major concern - Bitnet is a decentralized payment platform that is NOT controlled or influenced in any way by any government or agency. The crypto-payments platform is going to be open source and freely available for Businesses and Consumers to use.
Businesses and consumers will be able to access the wallet, Bitnet platform and apps freely from any country, and they can send, recieve and store their Cryptocurrencies 100% anonymously and securely.
There will be no registration or verification of identity for our platform users. Bitnet team and platform is 100% and will always stay anonymous, independent and truly decentralized.
The actual platform will NOT be subject to any legislation or government involvement because of the fact that we are not basing ourselves out of any one location. The platform is open and free like Bitcoin - Each country and government will need to create legislation and laws around the technologies emerging, which we will have no control over, however we are designing our platform to be used without any restrictions or hoops to jump through.
