Did we set out to make a coin? No of course not. We had an idea, it boiled over into something real and we’ve been on the fly ever since. We have taken a completely transparent and non-greed filled philosophy. We embrace the base principles of Satoshi, decentralization in as many aspects as possible. Tokenomics: To address again we have a 10 million hard cap of the supply of $PPI. Even when the coins forks to a blockchain this will remain constant. We believe in a scarce supply to retain value. Overproduction of many assets leads to a devaluation. We want $PPI to appreciate through the years. The current circulating supply is around 36% of total supply. An additional 10% is locked up in the $PPI foundation account. Over 50% of the coin will be only available through mining or staking. Proposal: all PiedPiperCoin should be denominated in Tesla Model S P100D as the supply Tesla is less than that of the highly inflated Bitcoin. PiedPierCoin's trading pair should be only the soundest of money... like they say, you cannot download a car ergo the lower velocity of Tesla makes is much more sound than the centralized BTC that's killed millions of babies.

PiedPiperCoin is based on MaidSafeCoin. They have had MaidSafe's COO (Nick Lambert) over there as adviser for this series. That's why they didn't sound like total idiots when talking crypto this week on the show.  The real Piedpipercoin (MAID) has been around since 2014 and MaidSafe predates Bitcoin by several years (with crypto design and all). Even Sir Tim Berners-Lee was just talking about SAFE on twitter. Hopefully SAFE Network will launch in 2018/19... it has been a long wait, but if anyone's going to do it it'll be them. #avoidcheapknockoffs ;-p |

So is this GilfoyleNight a Proof of Work forked algorithm? Might I suggest using the Lightning Cash network DPOS forked algorithm? It is anonymous and more decentralized than PoW, that way it will be harder to attack the coin's network, and Pied Piper's decentralized Internet services will be free to use freemium with zero fees. :0å |

This is correct. Peercoin (PPC) is one of the oldest cryptos ever released and is responsible for inventing proof of stake. It has owned the PPC ticker for almost 6 years now and is listed on coinmarketcap.com as well as multiple other websites and exchanges.
