We have decided to donate 100btc to those who lost funds from mt gox
It is a drop in the bucket compared to what was stolen by the liar mark karpeles, but we have decided we would like to donate to those who lost money from mt gox 100btc of the funds are making selling the mtgox user database.
I am certainly many people hate us for having sold info after hack, but please try forget that for now and help me figure out best way to get these funds to the largest amount of users most affected. We lost lots of money in mt gox and only sold the infos so we would not go broke personally. Hope some will realize we are not terrible people and main intent of hack was to expose karpeles crimes to public.
We have list of entire balances of every account and could send appropriate % of funds to each account, but problem is
we have deleted all info of over 150 people who have paid to be removed before database is sold, so would not be fair to exclude these people.
Please use this thread to suggest best ways to use this money to support mt gox victims. Is there international lawsuit it would be best to donate the funds to? If there is an extremely trusted member who we could agree to accept 100btc payment and distribute it fairly somehow, that would be my best choice.
