In my opinion Bitcoin is a big scam which created by drug dealers, hackers, illegal money resources. We buy bitcoin to sell it.  It likes gambling. Everyone wants to make money easly. But there is no way to make money with buy bitcoin. We just beleive it and pray like the religion. Nobody really knows how to work bitcoin system. It is just there is a thing that value XXX or XXXX. But need to realize that we do that. There is no real thing.

I am lucky because I quit bitcoin buy and sell.

Do not angry me it is reality. I respect if you agree or disagree.

You are a fool.  Religion is based on faith - no one knows the truth.  Bitcoin is based on science - there is nothing mysterious about it.

Isn't the USD essentially a debt that can never be repaid, by design?

Don't know about scam but sounds like a con.

Bitcoin offers something Fiat could never offer, a secure method of transferring money within minutes of which transferring through wire would take days...

You OP, also need to watch a documentary on how the U.S creates money..

Basically, all USD in existence is money created out of debt. Every single dollar and penny. The U.S treasury literally makes money out of thin air electronically..Not to mention the entire U.S economy is based upon a ponzi scheme.

The U.S government borrows more money from other nations than it has to pay back...so it sells something called government bonds, which is a bond that you can buy to gain back say 110% interest within 2 months. Buy selling those bonds, the U.S uses the money to pay back the countries it originally borrowed money from. That cycle keeps repeating indefinitely..

Because of that, the U.S could never be out of debt.

Please research before you make threads like this OP, thanks!

all money is faith..

read an american bank note

"in god we trust"

the banks are not asking you to trust a bank, because they know banks will scam you, so they ask people to trust in god...

however bitcoin is not money, its a valuable possession, such as art, a car, gold.. if its in your sole possession, its yours. no if's or buts.. bitcoin does not require people to trust a person, entity, corporation or omni-present being. you dont have to trust a damned thing.. you can read the code and know the absolute truth, and not stay ignorant using only trust..

bitcoin needs no trust to hold bitcoin. its been factually proven. read the code!
the only trust you have is in dealing with people you have not met, and unable to slap with a wet fish.. it is your decision to trade with faceless entities requiring trust. OR only trade with people you know, and have the truth of who they are and the ability to wetfish slap them as a tool to not require trust.

I DO NOT TRADE OR ACT AS ESCROW ON THIS FORUM EVER.
Please do your own research & respect what is written here as both opinion & information gleaned from experience. many people replying with insults but no on-topic content substance, automatically are 'facepalmed' and yawned at

I think the United States could get out of debt if it simply stopped spending so much money.
For whatever reason there seems to be complete apathy
when it comes to balancing the budget.  Maybe that is on purpose.
It used to all really bother me, but now that I have some bitcoins,
I don't care what they do their stupid currency.

How is it possible to make every sentence a wrong statement? This shows zero understanding of bitcoin.

Luckily for us, you quit.

The U.S could never get out of debt because of human greed. People run the government, I'm sure that there's a bit of corruption there too, heard about the secret service scandals? Or the watergate scandals? Humans make tons of mistakes.

Automated protocols that's been tested completely and is open source doesn't..aka Bitcoin.
