Congrats to Rabinovitch! Block find with an S5 at ~1.4TH/s.
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

And at the risk of splitting hairs with philipma1957... N is about 61 hours, not 80, given the current pool's hash rate of 4.56PH/s

Hey, you've got the Legendary tag... don't know how long you've had it, but it's the first time I've noticed.  Congrats Smiley

yep I have to say I did not expect it.  Most likely it was due to the  unofficial sp20 thread.  Which was done on my dime before all of the free demo threads.

I think the 13-15 gifted to legend sp20's served a second purpose they showed the Hero to Legend promotion to be more important then anyone realized.

I was a good sport about not getting a free sp20 due to my lack of legend status.  I was shortly made a legend after that.

I was also given a demo s-5 right after that.  and a little later a demo avalon 4.1

So all in all it was nice to be nice.

The pool may be under attack.  I will let the man work his magic and hope I score on the solo pool.

I think the problem is still persisting, mine failed over again 6 minutes after your post .... and the site is still not accesible!

Yeah it's a DDOS - seems the server DDOS protection cuts in and everyone is out for 5 or 10 minutes.

This guy says I have to pay him 3BTC ...

Looks like my miners are back on, but still can't access the website itself.

So when something like this happens, does it erase all previous history of what your hash rates, time and percentages are/were?

Go Big or Go Home.
