Folks:

I just posted this note over on the Trade forum:

http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=30.msg10592#msg10592

There are a few hackers who would be pretty interested in contributing patches to integrate BitCoin payments directly into the Tahoe-LAFS storage protocol. It would be a big job! It would probably take a year of effort before we would be ready to deploy it in a new stable release. Of course, the more people pitch in the faster the work goes.

Regards,

Zooko

Hey Zooko!

I wanted to thank you for posting about Bitcoin on your blog a year or two ago, back when I announced it on the Cryptography mailing list.

I'll offer 5btc contribution for this project.  I know it's not much (yet!), but perhaps it will spark others to donate also.  Which address can I send to?

http://tahoe-lafs.org/trac/tahoe-lafs <= Check the nice bitcoin button on their site.
Funny, I've send 10 btc also to them yesterday.

Thanks! for pointing out obvious ^_^

I've got a storage node running now (Nicknamed "Sjeng"), connected to VolunteerGrid.

@Zooko, any news on the bitcoin implementation in Tahoe-LAFS?
