Welcome to Elitehash Bitcore PPS Pools

Unlike the usual proportional pools, there is no variance on payoutsv here. Each share is added to your balance, with a rate of 100%

Just 1 server for now. The pool was relaunched with updated code

Having seen Omegapool at 52% today for the last 100 blocks, I'd like to remind miners that they could move to a pool that pays more with no variance, and help secure the network in the same move. We're currently just 3-4% of the network, so there's still plenty of room for the pool to be of healthy size. I wouldn't allow this to grow to the dangerous level that Omegapool has hit, without caring a bit it seems.

The situation with Omegapool is better now, but still it has at least 10% (percentage units) too much hashrate. Bitcore PPS Pools are doing just fine, so perhaps this time I'll recommend people to give https://bsod.pw/ a go. The operator seems to have woken up from slumber and is active again, and the pool has almost enough hashrate to combat variance at this low difficulty level. We need a lot more pools than these handful to really look like a properly decentralized coin. I'll save my lecture about payout methods to a later date Wink

Here's my pledge from Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/bitcore_btx/comments/8c9iz4/miners_at_omegapool_do_you_understand_what_a_51/dxd56gq/

"My pool will never reach 33%. At 25% new miners cannot be accepted, and measures have to be started to prevent the growth of the existing hashrate above 33%. With the last resort being temporary banning of noncompliant miners."

The pool has been running at 15 GH/s for some time now. If anyone catches us reaching 25%, please start complaining!

Got a nice test run with 20 GH/s, only problem was the graphs were loading a bit slow.

What characters should be supported in worker names? Currently I think it's only alphanumeric and dashes, what else are people using?

It's sad to see the hashrate dwindling, but that's understandable considering there are now some coins that are more profitable to mine than BTX. Still, supporters of BTX are more than welcome on this pool! I'm paying the highest rate with the most frequent payouts.

This pool was relaunched today with the new address format. All pending balances on the old pool were paid (using the address format converter where neccessary) & all miners left the pool, so it could be closed & reopened with the new format finally.

This should still the best Bitcore pool. Miners occasionally appear, but mostly hashrate is zero now. It wasn't like that always. I'm not going to remove the pool in the foreseeable future, this is what Elitehash started with! Smiley
