What happened: Fake website/token swap asking for your private keys!

Reference Link: Warning do not visit:    https://neoblockchain3.com/

Announced by: neoblockchain3.0

ANN: [ANN] NEO Blockchain 3.0 - NEW BLOCKCHAIN FROM ITS OWN GENESIS BLOCK

Flag 1: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=355

  • Despite multiple warnings on their ann thread there are no tags or flags created, the reason why I created this thread.
  • NEO Blockchain 3.0 employes the same bumping accounts used for "dothereum" phishing website, accounts that I will be tagging shortly.
  • As evidence I will just quote some of the posts.

This https://neoblockchain3.com/ is a phishing site that steals the private keys of victims and use them to steal their NEO.

CAUTION

It is true that NEO3 is a genuine update that is due in 2020.

However, this page, the linked website, and claims of a 2019 token swap are a scam, attempting to steal your private keys. The only official NEO website is https://neo.org/.

You can find genuine information on NEO 3.0 here -> https://neonewstoday.com/development/erik-zhang-releases-neo-3-0-roadmap/. You may track the Github progression here -> https://github.com/neo-project/neo/milestone/1.

Development of NEO3 will not be completed until mid-2020. Some aspects (such as the NeoFS PoC implementation by NEO SPCC) and dBFT 2.0 (already updated on MainNet) will be available on the current NEO 2.x first, but generally speaking, this update is a long way away.

There are absolutely zero finalized token swap details at this time. The only thing we know for sure is that it will not happen until MID 2020 AT THE EARLIEST.

Any claim otherwise is a scam. Please be careful. Use resources such as the official Discord/Telegram/Reddit accounts and NEO News Today to ensure that you are not being misled with false information.

***SCAM ALERT***

official NEO account is already warning about this shitshow!!!

Please help us reporting this scamshit! Link to the tweet: https://twitter.com/NEO_Blockchain/status/1140543719889784832

WARNING. This project is in all likelihood a SCAM.

Stay away from it. Do not trust anything that that has to do with this project.

The cheeseball bumping service it uses seals the chances of it being a scam.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

No credible service should be requesting your private keys, period.

The only reason you should give up your private keys is if you want someone to do whatever they want to your funds. Not to verify a balance or otherwise. That's what signed messages are for.
The problem with complex systems is that people are misinformed. Sending a private key is equivalent to sending someone your banking details as well as your identity as a whole.

Flag supported.
