Did you look at the feedback on his profile already left by some trusted members?


Look at the advertisement thread itself. It's self moderated with so many posts from different users already deleted. It's a scam tactic. That alone should have been enough to alert you.

The OP is a newbie, so maybe he didn't do any research before dealing with that person.
Checking the feedback alone will make you hesitant to have business with him.
This is a learning experience for the OP, check the background of the person first before making any transaction.

I wanted to leave a negative tag and create a newbie flag but looks like the transaction is just 7 confirmations... Maybe i should wait a little while before tagging the culprit?
(i didn't want to make a rush decision)

He can't get blocked or banned here because scam is not moderated in the forum. It's the responsibility of members to identify scam and report it. The only thing that can be done is the scammer's profile getting red tagged by DT members so that it can act as a warning to people who would want to deal with the scammer.
