I was searching for the Official Iceriver website which sells Kaspa ASIC Miners, and I found Google listed many fake websites that are scammers. Since there are a lot of scam websites, I don't want to create a topic for each scam website I find. So, I decided to combine all the scam sites I found online and post them here.

The original website of Iceriver is https://www.iceriver.io/.

There are several fake websites, and I listed here all I found.

When it comes to selling miners, there are so many of these fake websites. New domains keep popping up while old ones expire once they are identified as scam. I guess it's very profitable for the scammers, and it's not just iceriver, it happens with Bitmain, canaan.io etc
You will keep reporting them, but am not sure if you will exhaust them.

Here is another one I just discovered;

There are really a lot of those fraudulent sites. If you were to open a topic for everyone separately, it would probably be best if theymos immediately assigned you a separate board  Wink
Some time ago I started a thread with a similar intention, where I combined all (at least the ones I came across) Bitcoin doublers, HYIP, Ponzi etc... With an occasional update (now I remember that I haven't done this for a long time  Roll Eyes)

You need to edit title, as I understand that you are searching for all phishing links for Iceriver or you want to search for all phishing sites for ASIC Miners.

If what I understood is correct, the answer is easy. Any link other than the official link, which is https://www.iceriver.io/, is a phishing link, or you need to create a list of reliable ASIC Miners.

There should not be a list of scam sites because any site other than the official site is a scam. you can make a list of trusted sites.

That is a long thread perhaps.
Clone scam websites are everywhere especially those very popular ones that are related to finance with the purpose of deceiving users into providing sensitive information or making financial transactions. You cannot list them one by one because there are too many of them.
The same on the @LeGaulois thread [ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5381839.0 ]. Perhaps it is good to see if you will compile them all at once in one thread.

Well, I thought I would create a topic to let everyone know that a domain is a scam website, but then I figured out there are many of them. So, If I create one topic for one scam website, the scam accusation board will be filled with these topics. I noticed some users created their thread where they combine those scam websites lists and let this community know about those websites. See the example above posted by examplens.

If you noticed, most of those who created such lists stopped, either because they needed daily updating or because their search was not in-depth with all scam services and sites. I see that such lists give a false sense of security, as I will search through them, and if I do not find the site in one of these lists, this does not mean that it is safe.
If you have time and can update it daily, I suggest dividing it into several subsections, such as HYIP sites, cloud mining, mixers, scam altcoins, Ponzi, or any appropriate subdivision.

The same on the @LeGaulois thread [ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5381839.0 ]. Perhaps it is good to see if you will compile them all at once in one thread.

The last update was about a month ago, although it is only concerned with mixing services and not all scam.

I have not considered categorizing them because I don't actively look for scam websites. I searched for specific websites and got those scam websites in my search results. I created this thread for one reason, which I already said in my previous post. If I manage to find a lot of websites, then I may consider categorizing them.

About not updating their threads, maybe they lose interest, or they don't have enough time to update their threads. I am not sure if such threads are useful or not. But someone encouraged me to post about scam sites in the forum if I find any.

A daily update is not necessary, it would then be at the level of a regular job. Once per week or even a month is enough.

I am not sure if such threads are useful or not. But someone encouraged me to post about scam sites in the forum if I find any.

Of course, it's useful. If your list saves money for at least one user, it is a successful result. Even if a scam service stops working, you have left a warning on a specific domain. At some point, someone might want to buy such a domain for regular business, but there are still references that the domain is "dirty".

OP, maybe you should formulate the thread name differently. "List Of Scam websites by Learn Bitcoin" can be interpreted as if this is a list of your fraud sites, where you are their owner. I would rather write something like "List Of Scam websites exposed by Learn Bitcoin".

The original website of Iceriver is https://www.iceriver.io/.
Here's another fake version of it: IceRiver.in [Creation Date: 2023-07-11]

Can anyone suggest me a good format to combine them?
You can try the following format, but it's worth noting that in comparison to having a separate topic for each website, any time a complete noob stumbles upon your thread when they're searching for a certain website on Google, they'd probably have a harder time connecting the dots in order to see how things develop as time goes on.

e.g.

.Original website + Creation date.
.Fake website + Creation date.

At some point, someone might want to buy such a domain for regular business, but there are still references that the domain is "dirty".
That motivated me to post these scam website links here. As I said in my other posts, I never actively look for scam websites. I found that I was genuinely interested in checking the original website, and I found them from a google search.

OP, maybe you should formulate the thread name differently. "List Of Scam websites by Learn Bitcoin" can be interpreted as if this is a list of your fraud sites, where you are their owner. I would rather write something like "List Of Scam websites exposed by Learn Bitcoin".
Thank you, dear. I changed the title. That happened because I am not a native speaker which is why sometimes I make these mistakes. I have seen someone posted in a service thread that he had a terrible experience while he was in a signature campaign. That was because he wasn't a native English speaker.

A daily update is not necessary, it would then be at the level of a regular job. Once per week or even a month is enough.
It will be like someone fighting with closed eyes. Anti-virus programs have lists of scam sites, but they need to be updated on an almost daily basis because those scam sites create hundreds of these sites daily. Updating them every week or every month means that this list will always be out of date.
But I agree with you that if it saves money for at least one user, it is a successful result.

Thank you very much, SFR10.

The riskiest domain is the last one with an extra s. This is the only difference between the real and original domains. Most of the people do not notice such things. The design of the website is similar as well. So, it won't be an easy job for an average person to find the difference. Thanks again for finding the scam websites. I added them all in the OP and gave you the credit.

You're very welcome and thank you as well for updating the thread [you didn't have to give me the credit, but I appreciate it Smiley].
@JeromeTash also mentioned one of their fake websites in post #3.

I completely agree but unfortunately, these scammers can still go a step further than that by applying Punycode/homograph attacks on ICERIVER [that'd be the tricky part].

I have added it to the OP as well. Thanks, JeromeTash!

I completely agree but unfortunately, these scammers can still go a step further than that by applying Punycode/homograph attacks on ICERIVER [that'd be the tricky part].
This is something interesting. Thank you, SFR10, for mentioning this. I had never heard about it, and I had never known something like this existed. I didn't pay attention at first, but then I decided to search what Punycode/homograph is and got the answer. In case someone else doesn't know what it is,

So, Punycode is a neutral technology designed to represent non-ASCII characters in domain names, while a homograph attack is a malicious activity that exploits the visuPunycode'sities between characters of different scripts, often taking advantage of Punycode’s ability to render internationalized domain names.

SFR10, I believe this needs a topic in the Beginner and help section. This could a nice guide.

You're very welcome Smiley

@wwzsocki has already made a thread back in 2019 [there might be others as well]: Punycode and how to protect yourself from Homograph Phishing attacks?
- If you can provide additional stuff, go ahead Smiley

BTW, I think I've found one of their backups, but not sure if you need to include it in the opening post or not [it appears to be incomplete]: exotic420shop.com [Creation Date: 2023-05-04]

Thanks for the link. I had a look already, but I did not read the full thread as it's too long. But I am going to bookmark this so I can read it later. About additional details, I guess Wwzsocki already explained very well and did not need further explanation from people like me. I had no idea what Punycode is, while wwzsocki already created a long thread about it.

It won't take much time to add it in the OP. So, I will add it right after posting this.
