This person is posting selling MPD Keys and scripts . He scammed me out of money (bitcoin) . We communicated on Telegram as his post suggest. I asked a whole bunch of questions before which he answered. I send him the money he sent me 2 text attachments witch are useless. He was supposed to supply a script and also script grab the keys for 2 different services . The next thing after the bitcoin transfer was confirmed , he deleted all messages and would not respond. I have tried for several days now.

Wait you saw a user create a thread and after which proceeded to lock it himself and yet you still contacted him for a deal. Did you by any chance take a screenshot of your conversation before he deleted it? If yes then add it to your post as evidence.

If he was genuine in the first place there would be no reason for him to lock the thread – he was most likely trying to prevent other users from asking him questions that would have revealed his true intentions [to scam]. And since the account we’re dealing with is still a newbie account there’s not much that can be done here – because even if he’s tagged it will not take more than 30 minutes for him to create a new account and post his service here again.

I did not get a screen shot as we were in conversation and then all of a sudden the whole conversation was gone. He seemed straight up as he answered every question i have, gave me a test. Hey live and learn , i posted so no one else gets burned by this guy.

How much did he scam you if you don't mind sharing? Since you have no access to PM that have now since been deleted, could you provide some blockchain evidence like a Transaction ID. It's important that we have some evidence against him. I will help you tag and probably raise a flag against his account.

A locked announcement thread is red flag number one. Never deal with newbie accounts that have locked threads. They are trying to hide something.

How much are you scammed? Always follow this format for creating scam accusations.

Seems the user already closed his Telegram account also. It's not opening anymore. Do you have any screenshot of the conversation or any transaction ID of sending funds to him?

Before dealing with newbies always make sure you use escrow btw.

Sorry for your loss. Therefore, before making any deal, you should know the seller well and then deal with it, and using escrow is the best way to make your deal safe and avoid getting scammed. But you dealt with him in secret so that no one else knows about the conversation between you and now you have no proof because the seller deleted all the conversations.

So after seeing your case other buyers should learn from this and be careful when doing any dealings with this user.

That was quite an amount to be lost to a scammer

Please, if you love your money so much, next time, do not just trust random strangers with no reputation with it. If the person has not good reputation, at least use an escrow service to carry out the deal smoothly without having a chance of getting scammed.

But yeah, I learned my Lesson the hard way. I will never ever deal will a person requesting Crypto as a payment.

The purpose of this board is to expose scammers and also help warn future potential victims. if you ignore this scam accusations, the red tags and flags raised against the scammers and continue dealing with them, then it's on you.

Typical thing a scammer does, it's even more blatant now, most of the time in the past, they don't mind the questions and inquisitiveness of other users because they just ignore it or they can do some half-cocked explanation about what they're selling. It's just sad that there's not much to be done in this case, it would've been nice if there's some sort of permanent ban in place that would literally not allow that person to register again but it's the name of the game, scamming is an easy money and they don't want to let it go anytime soon. I hope that OP provides all the necessary evidences so others can watch out how these scammer does it's thing. Flag supported.

Someone that is capable of scamming others, what makes you think he won’t do anything just so he could convince you that he’s legit?
I’m not sure if you have encountered other scammer if you have the. You would have realized the extent to which scammers go just to convince their victims - this could be an eye opening experience for you (although it cost $200 that could have been used for something better).

Avoid dealing with new accounts and low ranks such as Newibies. Stay away from closed topics and self-moderated topics. You can verify and review all the feedbacks for their account by clicking on Trust. Anyway, don't repeat your mistake or the OP's mistake again, as the scammer can, after getting money from you, block you, delete the entire chat history on Telegram, change his username, and disappear.
