Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Great, thanks! I figured since they have redundant power, and implementations to prevent blackouts/brownouts.

if it is really expensive gear id still use one but its just extra protection. if they have redundant power then its not really needed

If you have a Co-Location where you have to even think about surge protectors, you should probably rethink whether or not you want to host your rigs there.

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

I was waiting for someone to post this. Thanks for being the one to post it.

Thanks for everyone else for the help. I am moving in there Tuesday. The rig is a beast. I would post a pic but there's gonna be that one condescending person that posts:

"What?! You bought that and you don't even know to use surge protectors or not? What a n00b, I'm better than everyone."

Anyways, I will post the rig in the hardware section to share. Thanks guys!
