What would be really interesting would be to upload difficulty against time in a CSV and see whether it correlates with anything. In other words, if someone searches bitcoin, then does another search for iso open, the correlation is increased? Or is this history of searching, so most people who searched for bitcoin at one time also searched for iso open at one time? Or something else?

It's not the clearest example... a better example: you would expect the geographic distribution of searches for "blizzards" and "snow shovels" to be almost identical.
