Completely terminating an account though is a procedure that has to be handled by an admin.

There are a ton of reasons why allowing people to do so would be detrimental, so if you or anyone would like to leave the forum permanently, the general procedure is to delete your posts (they can be restored by an admin) and change your password to something very secure. ;lk/rfgj;lkjg;lkjgrazl;kjngV:ikijn would work.

If you want your account to "terminate", change the password and email to something random, and you will no longer be able to login. If you want to be "forgotten", delete all your posts (or edit them) before you terminate your account. You should never be able to do it. Imagine hack and delete possibilities! Secondly I think it should be a limit for your posts you can delete, too. I have no idea anyone want to delete their own posts unless they are simply spam or evidence of some sort.
