Title: taking cointellect to court
Post by: morda on March 25, 2015, 09:56:14 AM
The show is over the staff abandoned the office

Its 110% scam

Im initiating a case against them in estonia, its not cheap either but i really need to gather as many victims as possible to convince authorities

To start with 5-10 people willing to give their story and their full legal name would help kick start this case

Thanks fo help in advance

Might want to have an NDA signed too if people going to hand over details like name address for legal reasons. Also going to need some form of security and something in place for Data Protection Act to be followed to. Indeed it is not cheap to follow legal action but to be honest with a lot of company's like this going to find it hard to bring justice to unless their is someone who is around and can actually speak to in person. Email can simply close down and decide to not answer. Need an address that  solicitor acting on your behalf can write to and actually speak in person. Plus you will need to co-ordinate with their legal firms to in country of origin for the business. Lot to do as been down the road myself with a few company's won battles but that was not related to mining or crypto related.

I do wish you the best in this if you get enough people to get some action taken.

If memory serves, there were a few people that posted on r/cryptocurrency about being scammed by them. I personally learned my lesson about any cloud mining services long ago after doing the maths. Cointellect just struck me as a "too good to be true" outfit though. At least cex made me a few BTC.

I hope you guys use skype to get their legal story, so it doesnt cost them to fly over internationally that costs an arm and a leg.

Plus most things can be done over the internet like faxing that paper work or the pdf file uploaded and signed. Also, outside from stating the actual action of filing the law suit, you might want to explain your story as well op.

For others to be on the same page that sees your thread, and enlighten us what has happened, with possible screen caps if you can.

Otherwise my lawyer is ready to act

I was also waiting on about 200 euro's they had locked since after xmas but I am more up than down with cointellect so even losing the 200 I think I deposited about 400 and withdrew nearly 600 so I'm either up or equal. What I am more angry about is I wish they would just say we are a scam and do one. It is the waste of the logging in everyday for weeks on end to see if my '14 days' were up. I started doubting my concept of time. Or time I had factored that money into my plans. Things like that annoy me more than the money. Basically being dicked around.

I love how their last post was 'The Hidden Gem' I've got to admit, they had me, sounded very positive and lapped it up :)

Do you have link of where you know they have all left the office? I feel sorry for all the people out there still logging in everyday who do not have this information.

Come on guys. Wasn't it obvious from the start that you'll lose your money if you put money into a ponzi scheme?

That's funny.
Cointellect was obvious ponzi scam and you invested and loose money, what a shock!
Those people who doesn't listen the warnings are stupid enough and deserve to be scammed.

FYI if you paid via credit card you should charge back via your bank also they'll charge back via paypal (if you selected it as payment method).

There were a way to scam the scammer;
Pay with CreditCard and get payout with CryptoCurrency. When you're done issue a chargeback via Bank.

Best of luck! Happy to see someone thinking of taking some strict actions against these people.
Keep us updated about the case and then take care the next time.

So far managed to gather a couple of victims but nearing a position where i can file the case

If i can get another 7 victims or so my lawyer could possibly take it direct to the top procuator in Estonia

The problem im sensing is that most victims are still hoping for the best as the website is still up however i would like to send out the message that the staff have vacated the office weeks ago i verified this directly by someone who visited
