Title: Gamble site betcoin.TM (not .ag) SCAM alert!
Post by: fox19891989 on March 27, 2015, 01:50:27 PM
Hi, today I saw an ad in BCT forum, the old scam site betcoin.tm(it's not betcoin.ag, betcoin.ag is a great and legit site ;D) bought the ad spot in this forum :o :o. And their banner is extremly attractive, it says: 6888 USD no deposit bonus (of course no free money in the world, especially 6888 USD)

Look at the screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/jdwNIA2.jpg

And I use the search link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=search2     to search  "betcoin.tm" in the forum,

Find some scam accusations:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=292273
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=297110.0

It's the scammer's profile, let's give him negative feedback: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=142573

And his post history, you can see bid for the ad spots:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=142573;sa=showPosts

I hope admin can delete their scam ads from this forum, or some new users may be scammed by them, and this scam site is indirectly defaming betcoin.ag, which is very reliable and the most popular site in the crypto community.

Everybody can purchase an ad.

Exactly.
In the past, theymos have accepted ads for a ponzi which by definition is a scam. And after some complaints, he didn't remove the ads but just adjust the disclaimer to the current version.

I doubt he will remove the betcoin ads.

theymos accepted ads for ponzi? not really IMO if you are saying it was pbmining, theymos thought of advertising for a cloudmining company not a ponzi company, but the fact that he rejected bitmixed before because he got his own awareness of advertising for a mixer company

Why should he delete the ads? The owner of that site has already paid his slot(s) and  I'm not sure he has accepted an ad of a ponzi site (but  maybe you are right, at the end it is only a question of money).

Betcoin.TM has always been at best incredibly sketchy and deceptive and at worst an outright scam. Erik Voorhees was convinced that they were ddosing Satoshidice for quite some time. betcoin.tm and 999dice are two websites I would never trust with a single satoshi.

Nope I am not talking about PBMining, but makebtc.org and ponzicoin.co.
Please click the link in my above post and you will see what I was talking about.

Yeah, I also saw some ponzi sites in the ad spots before, and it's not PBmining, it's other scam sites.

Actually ads should be censored, and admin can reject scam sites if the admin rejected bitmixer before, betcoin.tm is a notorious scam so they should know it.
