Title: [03-27-2015] Growing Interest In Bitcoin Functionality For Existing ATMs
Post by: waawd on March 27, 2015, 10:00:01 PM
Most people automatically assumed that creating Bitcoin ATM’s would increase awareness and adoption of our disruptive digital currency. Even though there are a few hundred Bitcoin ATM’s deployed all over the world, it doesn’t seem to impact adoption at all. But do people actually like – or really dislike – digital currency ATM’s? Present users of Bitcoin can easily use these ATMs to purchase coins and likely pay less fees to obtain such coins rather than buying them at a larger markup on an exchange of whatever sorts. I like these ATMs cause they will allow the average joe make a purchase more easily during a bull market panic buy situation. This is unlike the last runup to $1100+ so the next one should be way more healthy than the last. Digitally waiting on the next move.

There was no significant run for the ATMs because there's still little things you can buy with Bitcoin. It's rather treated as novelty, something to check out and talk about at parties. Once you will be able to buy coins and use them to get a hot dog from a stand around the corner we'll start seeing lines in front of the ATMs.
