Over the past few months, we have seen multiple video game retailers starting to accept Bitcoin payments. CJS CD Keys was the very first cd key retailer to do so, and by the end of 2014, Green Man Gaming had joined the fray as well. Earlier today, I found out that Gamesplanet is accepting Bitcoin payments through BitPay.

This is the best part of the article, " Gamesplanet accepts bitcoin payment through its payment processor BitPay. As is usually the case with BitPay payments, they are confirmed instantly
– I love zero-confirmation transactions – and my cd key was available in my account immediately. All I had to do was confirm my email address, as you will need to sign up for a Gamesplanet account before making a purchase.
"
You always hear people having a issue with confirmation time on the Blockchain and this is one of the advantages of using payment processors like BitPay. Let's hope more gamers jump onto this in the future. ^keeping thumbs^

Awesome, they've got Might & Magic Heroes VI on special offer too.  I had been waiting for GOG.com to add that one to their collection (they've got 1-5, but not 6).  But if GamesPlanet have got it, and it's 75% off and I can pay with Bitcoin, then that's even better.

Yes, that's great...
And I asked too to Instant gaming (Twitter, Facebook, support) to accept Bitcoin : I think they will add BTC soon... Instant gaming prices for video-games are amazing...

Actually, I'm starting to wonder if I've got that right.  It says on the page (https://uk.gamesplanet.com/game/might-magic-heroes-vi-complete-edition--1606-5):
Quote
Required to be played
Heroes of Might and Magic VI - Deluxe £34.99

So now I'm starting to wonder if the 75% off one is just an expansion and I need to buy the £34.99 one.  Also it requires uplay. I hate steam, so don't really fancy getting a steam clone just for one game.  Maybe I won't bother after all, heh.  Still, hooray for accepting Bitcoin, though.
