I am sure if you're smart enough to earn it you can sure as well know where you should be spending it.

Me I just either buy some digital goods with it, gamble it or if I don't want to buy anything, I just save it for the future.

Edit: If you still can't think of a way to spend it, just throw it at me as hard as you can, I don't mind at all.

If you don't have any immediate financial needs, why not start saving towards a Casascius coin? They'll never make any more and they're established as the 'face' of Bitcoin in countless media happenings. They'll still have value even if BTC dwindles to nothing.

Do not invest in any altcoins, I think gambling is more 'secure' than investing in alts. Instead save your bitcoin, do not buy anything unless you rally need it because bitcoin price is right now rather low so I would advise you to wait for some price rise.  And then buy something.

Better ask yourself that question rather than asking others. It's your money and you should do anything to it with your due diligence.

If you're looking for an advice, we can always give you some tips, but again, it is in your own judgment whether or not you should follow those. Better save some from that signature campaign because saving--as we know it--helps people a lot, especially in unexpected occasions and emergencies. After all, it's better to be safe than sorry. Also, if you want to help the economy, you can support merchants that implement bitcoins as a payment option and buy things and stuff that you want/need.

I suggest you to hold them (instead of spend/lose them in something "useless"). However the money is yours and you should know what you should do with your own money or am I wrong? With my bitcoin I'm buying stuff online like steam games, software and also electronic products (HDD, headphones, etc..).

Ooh the one with the highest risks option. It is true that you may end up winning a lot more than what you have right now, but the risks of getting lost in the end is higher than any other methods of increasing your money. If you are good at poker, you can try your hand into it. Who knows, maybe you can rake up insane amounts of btc. But seriously, gambling is a no-go for the feint of heart and to those who are easily moved by their emotions in decision-making. Just don't.

Wow this is some advice right here ^^ gambling is more secure than investing in altcoins? I am having a really hard time working this out i will just call it what it is, it is bs by no means is investing in altcoin safe but gambling comparison :)

You should buy something for yourself or a family member and enjoy, or if you want to try and increase your holdings you will have to find a good investment in the sea of scams. Good luck.

Based also from my experience, trading and playing with alts can give you a good profit. The last one I got into was quite a great roller coaster ride, as I invested nothing but gained a very hefty profit. You can always mine those alts when the difficulty is low and then sell it to an exchange once it is out. You risk nothing, but you gained something. But gambling? No no no. :O

why you are confused how to use your bitcoin? whereas a lot of ways to use it. You can use bitcoin as a payment system to buy various products online, trading to gain more profit, and sell it to the original money / fiat.

Since you have received the bitcoin from sig ad campaign, I can guess the amount is not significant. So I think you should save it and try to build up a decent balance before entering the stream. Good luck on your campaign. Keep earning.

Hoarding BTC is against the whole principle of Bitcoin. But then, how can someone ignore it, when in future it could make you a millionaire? I am spending some of my coins, but at the same time, I am hoarding most of my BTC.

You could try to help people and make more by funding mirco loans. That would have some risk so you better do your homework before you lend out any money to anyone so you can be sure you will get it back!

Casacius coin is a nice collectible but I would rather have my bitcoins availible and divisible at any time if I want to spent some or to trade with them.

Personally, I would go and spend a small fraction of the coins and treat myself with something. I'd go buy something techy, if it was me. For the rest of your coins, I'd say hold onto them and sell it when you think it has reached a really good price.

Buy/sell.. unless u dont know about altcoins dont bother with them and try to grow ur bitcoin in a exchange site by selling hi-buying low. Its a slow prosess but kinda safe(?).

I would invest in some PoS coins. No mining diff there.

Instead of classical PoW difficulty, you have prices that are even stronger related with coins supply.

If you have good trading skills and you have time to do some research in alt coins (and of course if you are ready to lose your BTC just in case), you can try trading alt coins to multiply your BTC holdings.

If not, just put them in the cold storage and wait to see if Bitcoin gets momentum in future. With signature campaign I'm sure it will be a small amount and selling it at these low market price won't give you much.

Find an altcoin that has a good chance to rise a lot. That's what I do. Monero and Fibre are two of the coins I buy.
Or just keep the satoshi / bitcoins until they get really big.

Currently it is quite cheap so  there is no point trying to spend it. You might try increasing it by trading either through BTC-> fiat or through altcoin trading but they come with their own risks.

It's good to spend BTC to encourage BTC commerce in general, then you can buy more BTC to replace spent coins. You could spend BTC to get BTC-only discounts and also spend it when BTC is up a few % from your buy-in price. Both those together equals a decent discount.

i am saving to invest in some mining at hashnest. i trust this company because it produces miners and surely are hashing not pretending. i agree that from a small amount of money you can't make very big amount so its hardly any difference as to keep them but i still want to try. and if i succeed to get a bigger amount then i will hold :P you can also do something similar if you like.

If you ever find a project which promises 2 months ROI, pass on it. If it s something more realistic like 10% a year, do a deep screening and test it with some smaller amount.

Take your BTC for a Mining contract if it is big in amount.Otherwise do any thing with it which you like more to  do with it simply   :).

As it is probably not a lot then i would suggest to keep hold of it and save each weeks signature payments until you have enough to either invest or cash out and buy something nice for either yourself or someone you like. This is what i am going to do is keep saving and sooner or later maybe the savings will actually be worth something who knows?

You are right, man, I am the best example to prove your view.

I lost over 80 btc on altcoin trading, it destroyed my life. And most of them are shit, devs are scammers, they just wanna our bitcoins. Most of them are pump and dump scheme, big whales are stealing investors' money.

While I earned over 10btc in gamble, so I prefer to say, altcoin is the real gamble, but gamble can for fun and make money.

The best thing to do is to buy stuff with it . Personally I keep my Bitcoin and look for it to peak and then sell it . This strategy paid out for me in 2013 when I bought bitcoin for 90$ and sold for 850$ . The problem is that you never know when the peak will be reached or how much will be the peak. When BTC climbed to $250 in mid 2013, many of us thought that it was the peak and offloaded a lot of our coins. But after a few months, the exchange rate climbed to $1,200!

This is a good answer, gambling is very risky! you need mostly luck and only a bit brain to have success..
For trading, for example with altcoins you need much more intelligence and experience.
You need information and must understand them, otherwise you will loose money.
You have to learn a lot about many things around cryptocurrency and money, to be successful.
With different kind of trades, strategies and investments you choose the risk by yourself. The risk in games is made for you!
Gambling is for the stupid and only recommendable if you have already enough money in your wallet.
I can say, with good trades are high profits possible. And it can generate profits over a long period of time. And it is a honest way!
I never play games, so i can't say it isn't more profitable than trading. But i don't think that gambling can generate a continual income.
And as a trader i would say, keep your hard earned btc on a safe place, at this days!
Maybe at the beginning of next year you can think about selling your coins for whatever ;)

Before i answer your question, answer first my question.  Why do you work for? If you already answer it then . Spend it that will you make happy because you work hard for it as the same time buy your need not your wants or invest it in a compound interest it makes a big profit than simple interest. Or save it. Make it cash reserves for your future.

I'd advise saving it. Personally I think bitcoin has great investment potential over the next couple of years. Just need some patience is all.

You could probably purchase an account which is full member and participate in a signature campaign. This would be a viable investment only if you are willing to delicate time for forum posts.

He cant make anything serious with this. In order to get 0.15 BTC per week, he would need to post like crazy. Not many people are dedicated to do that.

I do have a few blogs and websites where I post ads from Coinurl. The revenue is not that bad, if you are able to attract good traffic, especially from the US / EU.

People, just hold on to your coins. Put them in cold storage and wait a couple of years for them to appreciate in value. Just hold them safely and forget about them. Don't panic sell, don't invest. That's it! :)

You can always convert your Bitcoin to cash and buy things in real life for what you want, I am making my living at the moment out of Bitcoin  :D

Well yeah, but investing the coins is an even bigger gambling. And the biggest gambling you can do is, well, gambling with them. Yeah selling them for FIAT is the safest thing you can do, but why are you in Bitcoin then, to begin with? ;)

at this point with this current value of bitcoin, i see them as equally gambling, it's better to invest at least 50% and keep the rest, this will result in a better chance to rise your capital

Use maybe 20% to invest in altcoins. But do your due diligence and make sure you understand the altcoin market!

Don't buy an altcoin when everyone else is raving about it. Look for the good ones and buy them when they are cheap.
