Title: Which exchanges haven't been hacked? I know Cryptsy is one. Post by: Lorenzo on April 01, 2015, 09:23:41 PM The recent hack involving AllCrypt got me wondering... I've seen a lot of exchanges come and go over the past few years and to the best of my knowledge, almost all of these have suffered hacks at some point in their history.
Bitcoin exchanges Bitstamp: Recently hacked. Quickly recovered. BTC-e: Hacked a long time ago but recovered. Coinbase: Not hacked but not really an exchange until very recently. Mt. Gox: Hacked and collapsed in 2014. Also suffered hacks in previous years. Altcoin exchanges C-cex: Not sure but was apparently hacked? Cryptsy: Not hacked and probably the only major one to not have been hacked yet. Bittrex: Not hacked? Bter: Recently hacked. Not sure about current status. Kraken: Not hacked? Mintpal: Hacked in 2014. Was then sold and later shut down. Poloniex: Hacked in 2014 but recovered. Any other examples? Can you think of other exchanges that haven't been hacked at least once during its history? |
