You create an account on a website and hold your bitcoins on account there and transfer in and out. Creating an account on a website is a lot easier than installing and learning to use software, and a more familiar way of doing it for most people. - snip - It's an easy way to get started - snip - Apparently even Satoshi fell victim to the concept of encouraging people to put their faith in third party accounts under some circumstances for small amounts. If you click on the link, you'll see that there are the words "April Fool" and if you have read the link (which I know you have not), you'll see that it is indeed another one of those jokes. Believe me, this "April Fool" thing will continue on for a month. After all, you're on the internet.
