Title: [WTS] 5970, 6870X2 SOLD
Post by: yochdog on August 16, 2012, 04:47:05 PM
These cards are in great shape.....I simply have no more room.

the 6870X2's are the king of MH/$......they will do well over 600 MH/s with the right tweaks.

I would like to get 25 BTC for the 5970 and 20 BTC for each of the 6870X2's.

Who said it was? He's selling it for a lower price than the 5970, and claims to get 600MH/s (where a typical 5970 can get ~800).

currently have 4 6870 banging away at 300MHS each right now, current temp is 73 room temp 78F, so yes the 6870x2 will easily do 600MHS, with a few tweaks the 6870x2 can get up to 650. Seen settings for 375MHS but cant make it stable on my box.  XFX / GPU @ 1000 MHz / MEM @ 200 Mhz / Voltage @ 1.187 V / FAN @ 40% / Temp @ 72 C / Flags: -k phatk2 platform=0 device=0 VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=6 worksize=128 FASTLOOP=false

Yes I have. If you want to do business with someone who there is no reasoning with, go ahead. If something goes wrong with the transaction even when its his fault, you are the only one who should be taking a loss according to him

Bullshit.

He got a full refund.  Bro is just butthurt because I would not issue the refund until I received the card back (shocking, I know)...nor would I compensate him for the exchange rate movement after the deal.

Nice try asshat.

lol didnt think YD would do this and ruin his rep. I would not have issued a refund till I received the card back to test for myself, so seems reasonable and if the exchange could have worked in your favor, would you issue a refund to him? I think that is a chance we all know and accept that change in rate, especially these last few weeks. YD is straight, but then again I dont have a dog in this fight.

Regardless, I always deal straight with every deal I make.....you can ask any one of DOZENS of people on here.  Thanks for the vote of confidence Segabtc!

I'm not the one calling names, so I'm not the one who looks foolish. He has not fully refunded me, if you want to believe him there's nothing I can do about that. If you choose to believe someone based on their post count that's fine too. But I have a right to say what went down and let you know.

I feel that seeing as yochdog is a trusted member, there shouldn't be much problem shipping the card back in order to get the refund. Even if he wasn't the best trusted member, what would you have to lose shipping back a broken card?

My interpretation on this is, the buyer had buyer's remorse, and decided they wanted their BTC back + any profits they would have made had they sold high and bought back in low.

Edit*
I'm not the one calling names, so I'm not the one who looks foolish. He has not fully refunded me, if you want to believe him there's nothing I can do about that. If you choose to believe someone based on their post count that's fine too. But I have a right to say what went down and let you know.

A guy has the right to get pissed when you call him a scammer if it is wrongful, so you actually do seem a bit foolish until some sort of proof is given. We aren't believing Yoch based on his post count, we are believing him based on his previous track record, as well as the fact that his defense sounds reasonable.

How, exactly, have I not fully refunded you?  I sent back the exact amount you paid me for the card, plus 1.18 BTC for return shipping.

Do i need to go pull out the PM's and line them up with the blockchain to really embarrass you?

Got what I was promised after I made this post. I didn't know it was cool to name call and threaten on these forums.

Regardlless he could have sent me a working 5970 very easily (since that was our agreement) but chose not to based on the fact that the exchange rate had fallen, and thus the monetary loss was all on me. I guess I shouldn't have expected that from a "hero" member. I didn't want more bitcoins as he said, I wanted a 5970. I fulfilled my end of our contract 100% yochdog did not.

I bought a 7970 from a forum member here, and when I got it, wasn't working properly. I talked to him, shipped it back, and got the exact same amount of BTC I sent him back. That's how it works. Sometimes cards get damaged in shipping (as mine did). You don't get to keep the card AND the coins. You get a refund for coins you sent, not the USD equivalent.

Dude,

You are seriously the biggest whiner I have seen on the forum.  When you asked if I could send another 5970, I politely told you no.....as I do not have any extra.  This is how trading works.....if you are not satisfied, replacement OR refund are the means of satisfaction.  At NO point did I ever mention the exchange rate for being the reason I would not send another, nor did it even enter my mind.  I transact in BTC, and the exchange rate after the sale is of no concern to me....I accept it is volatile going in.

Finally, after I informed you I would not be able to send another 5970, you said the following:

the fact that you think all the loss should be on me doesnt even make since if you were willing to negotiate and make it about half and half I would at least understand that you are being reasonable, but its still 100% your fault and none of mine

So in fact, you did indeed want more coins.....in direct contradiction to your statement above.

Now, do you want to keep going?

All your doing is proving what I said I wanted a 5970 you didn't want to put up with your end of the deal. It was never my desire for a refund. It is my belief that if you still have the opportunity to fulfill a contract you do it, why is that such a hard thing to understand

Dude, just stop.

You are accomplishing nothing other than showing a complete lack of basic comprehension.  You have been made whole, and have absolutely ZERO basis for which to call me "not a person of my word".

Do yourself a favor, and spend some time observing how trades actually work.....then perhaps you won't level baseless charges at respected members in the future.

It will save you from making a fool of yourself.

I don't call names of people I don't agree with
I am willing to pay for my own mistakes
yochdog does neither of those
he does though send out cards without fully testing them

make your own decision on who is really more trustworthy

Agreed. And if it is NOT possible for yochdog to ship you a new cards (as he does not have one), a refund is the only option.

I don't call names of people I don't agree with
Except you did call yochdog names, right here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101082.msg1153307#msg1153307).

I am willing to pay for my own mistakes
Except for the mistake of not admitting when you are wrong.

yochdog does neither of those
He sent you a refund, which was explained to you as the best he could do.

he does though send out cards without fully testing them
As I said, sometimes cards get damaged in shipping. This happened to me, has happened to others, and you are not special because it happened to you.

make your own decision on who is really more trustworthy
Oh I have.  ;)

Where did I call him any names?

Except for the mistake of not admitting when you are wrong.
I'm wrong for trying to warn people? and telling them the truth about what happened? I even admitted he finished paying the shipping charges that he agreed to pay. But he was ignoring my requests to pay, until I made this post. But he is now paid in full. I'm wrong because I'm an unhappy customer?

As I said, sometimes cards get damaged in shipping. This happened to me, has happened to others, and you are not special because it happened to you.
Yes I know but its usually pretty obvious when this happens, and there was no physical damage to box or card. Also he admitted to not testing it except for posting.

Oh I have.  ;)
and I see you're impossible to reason with as well, noted
