Title: [WTB] Quiet Miners
Post by: Ecnad on April 03, 2015, 02:48:36 AM
Looking for miners that are fairly quiet as my rigs run in my office and I need to be able to work there.

Open to some cheap USB sticks and more expensive stand-alone rigs.

Payment via Bitcoin or Paypal.

PM me what you have and what you want for it.

The S3 is super quiet, quieter than S1 or S5 and runs 450gh/s and a decent efficiency.

Yes, the S3 isn't bad. I have a 3+ now as my main unit. How do they do when stacked? Is the noise level similar or does it multiply?
I had 2 S5's for almost a day lol, couldn't stand the sound of a clogged vacuum running non stop!

I just mean stack noise-wise :) IE: 45db plus 45db = X? Hoping someone with 2 or 3 S3's can advise

I have 2 s3's and they are great. After having 2 it didn't really add much noise overall. My PSU is louder than my s3's haha

I've got Monarchs for 1 BTC each + shipping.  Totally silent and able to get 700GH/s.

Thanks all, but this request is closed. Quite pleased with the performance and quietness of my new C1 and will likely add a second one soon.
