The JAVA client? You want to use your CPU/GPU? If it is yes for all, what is the problem? JAVA clients are usually easy to install/use especially if you use Windows.

He probably want to earn money using gomezpeerzone (http://www.gomezpeerzone.com/). Yes, a ban is still possible but chances are less.
