Post by: abitcoinblog on August 17, 2012, 07:35:09 AM
We hosted our last meetup in the http://www.launchacademy.ca (http://www.launchacademy.ca) space.

It was well attended and a lot of great ideas were exchanged!

As well he have scheduled our next meetup on Sep 5th for the same location.

Thanks to everyone at Launch Academy!

Did the September 5th meeting happen? I would love to attend any further Vancouver meet-ups.

Bia Yao Ma, happy to see someone else from Van City! I'm considering organizing another meet-up, but it doesn't seems like many people from this city are active here. If we can get even 5-10 people together I will sponsor the gathering at a bar or restaurant or something. Free steaks and booze, and a lot of bitcoin talk... let's do it!

Anyone else interested? Speak up!!! Or just PM me. I'm sure there are enough people in the bitcoin community who live in this great town.

I wouldn't mind chatting to some like minded Bitcoin enthusiasts.

Here is an idea, I was in the ING bank space downtown and the was told that the space is available to members for group meeting.

The thought of promoting Bitcoin in a bank seemed amusing to me. (An unofficial sponsor)
