I found this interesting article and after reading it a question passed through my mind. What would happen if people instead of using normal martingale strategy would use anti-martingale strategy? Would we see posts of people winning a lot of bitcoins with this strategy? There has been 30 losing streaks so 30 win streaks would be possible aswell, of course the bet limits would come to play but a lot of bitcoin casinos let you bet a high amount of money compared to normal casinos, just-dice allowed once even 270 btc as max bet (68.000$ as of the actual price)

All those odds still suck.

At least with the regular martingale your bankroll slowly goes up (until you hit the big losing streak and lose it all). With this, if you start with 10 you only have 10 chances.

There is no way to combine -ev bets to be +ev.

it will be as bad as the normal martingale but the opposite result

It's toooooooooooooo difficult win 1 million dollars with 10 USD from casinos even with enough time and bets, 17 wins in a row is not realistic and casino doesn't allow this big bet.

But it can happen in poker world, many famous poker pros do that, for example Tom Dwan, he started with 50 USD in online poker, and has earned several million USD online, as well several millions from high stakes poker.

Buy a lottery ticket ;) if you are super lucky guy , maybe you will win more than 1 million dollars

You may try and make it happen in your dreams but I think I am going for the nightmare. Where instead of winning that many hands in a row, I am losing that many hands in a row.

Your chances of turning that into $1m is tiny. Casinos wouldn't be built up if turning $10 to $1m is easy

No one said it was easy, you can check the odds right there but with bitcoin dice casinos its easier to make if you are lucky because they allow a bigger max bet but of course the odds are still shit. The thing is that if everybody was using the anti martingale or reverse martingale whatever you call it someone would make a good amount of bitcoins even if the max bet is something like 50 bitcoins. You start with base bet of like 0.01 and you double on each win, you would probably lose but someone would win 20 times in a row aswell

It is possible but you can't change the odds in any way, a house egde is a house edge  ;D

Yes, if you set a profit you can have way better odds than just betting non stop. Like if you want a profit of 1$ and you have 100$ you could just bet everything on 98% wich would give a payout of 1$ if im not mistaken and boom you would have 98% chances of winning. With more money you could have even bigger chances to win "x" amount of money

Also to increase success chance you need to have a large pool of money to have little steady gains. Big capital tied up for not so big gains.

I dont see why you believe its not possible? Its possible, there has been reports of 30 loosing streaks, the same would happen with winning streaks. Lets say you go right now to a casino with 10 btc max bet and you bet 10 btc over and over, lets say you have 100 btc so you lose some bets you win some and suddenly you win 30 consecutive bets (3.000 btc or 760.000$) and thats on a casino with 10 btc as max bet

it's impossible in pure gambling games

but as fox said in poker you can do more than this for many reasons :

1- there are plenty of freerolls that can give you even more than 1000$ ( which will help you to build you bankroll )
2- you will be in situations that will make you money in the long run ( the long run is more than one million hands )
3- you have the edge not the house
4- you can use trackers to track your game and to help you to remember some of your opponents moves

it may take 20 years and it may take 4 or less
but it's possible to make millions playing poker

Reverse martingale?

What if you lost $10 a million times trying to get a single million? Quite possible.

Well satisticly you would lose a little bit more than 1 million before winning 1 million but you also can be really lucky and win the 1 million in your first tries, the thing is that is possible

if you manage your bankroll good you will not lose in poker
of course there are downswings
you can't take the results of one day as a measurement

you should take your results weekly , monthly and yearly
if you are losing then your game need to be improved
