Post by: tvasconcelos on August 17, 2012, 03:52:23 PM
Hi, can anyone tell me how can i run p2pool from a remote host?

I am trying to set up a private pool so that i can connect my miners, i run it on work lan right now... not so good because i have to shutdown pc when i leave...

I was trying to find a free web host, and run the node from there. Can someone give me a hint on how to pull this off ?

Thats nö Problem if the Maschine Hits the requirements.  You have allow Access from your work-network or make your Node public. The Networkdelay can be an Problem.  For Testing  you can use my Node(http://p2pool-cologne.dyndns.org:9332/) than you can See the different between an local or Remote.
