Title: What is the standard rate of BTC for Neteller/Skrill?
Post by: viking02 on April 06, 2015, 06:10:00 PM
Offered 1 percent neteller/skrill for bitcoin.  From what i read , it should be more like 3 percent?  Thus 3 percent more vig neteller or skrill for bitcoin?  BTC is always worth more than neteller/skrill correct?

Bitcoin is always worth more than neteller, skrill and even payza because of its nature and intrinsic properties.

Well depends on which side you are on, and who the trader is. Sometimes people who buy Neteller with bitcoin, end up paying a % or 2 more as a premium.
And sometimes someone selling Neteller and wanting to buy Bitcoin , usually pay a premium the other way round as well.
However if you are talking about deposits on Neteller, then yeah thats close to a 0.5-1% difference in price from Bitstamp. Neteller being less.

Bitcoin is always worth more than neteller, skrill and even payza because of its nature and intrinsic properties.

That again depends. If someone is buying Neteller or Skrill using their BTC, then someone they may have to pay more. Its all demand.

If you are lucky, you can find 1, 2, 3 or even at 5% but usually it could go for 7+%.. so the range would be from 0 to 7%

Why would anyone pay 7 percent that high?  Isn't that most likely a scammer?  I like to know what should be the proper vig for someone trading neteller that is very reputable...

It's mostly 2% from what I have seen the exchangers offering for Skrill to BTC but some members also accept a 1:1 exchange like I have had earlier. Many trusted users take a 5%-10% fee when exchanging with Skrill/Neteller.

Is it still valid now that btc is worth more than skrill and neteller?  Thus no matter what happens to value of bitcoin, it always is worth more than skrill/neteller?

Yes because BTC value keeps fluctuating and even if its value reached below $200 or $150, people will still consider it more than Skrill or any other fiat cash. It should actually be the opposite as fiat cash has a stable value unlike bitcoins.
