Title: Using BTC to earn some extra scratch
Post by: toodamntired on April 07, 2015, 07:59:03 PM
Oh, I don't need a list of ways to do it. I was able to simply read the 1,001 other threads relating to that  :P.....lol. I am far from new to online earnings, just new to BTC really. I decided to go back to school and earn my bachelors in programming at 39 years old. Financial Aid just doesn't give you enough anymore to cover regular, everyday bills and expenses, so here I am!

If anyone needs any work done, I am available, have references, profiles, samples, etc...

What can I do?

Writing, posting, social media marketing, SEO, web scraping, document conversion, form creation, image editing, website updating, eCommerce management, data entry, profile/page builds, account acquisitions, research and video related work.

I have all Adobe software (I mean I have it ALL), Corel PS7, Office 2013 Student, Sony Vegas, Wondershare and more. I work quick, provide quality work that I guarantee and always deliver work before I expect Payment (from verifiable people).

I would like to ask about a couple things;

faucet sites; is it really worth it?

Signature campaigns; who else has them and where is the sign-up for this forum's?

payment processor for BTC; I am also in the process of opening a couple eCommerce sites and want to accept BTC, any recommendations?

other boards with job/earning opportunity listings; any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch

First post your skills in services forum.  You will have people looking for services checking there not here.

On faucet sites; is it really worth it?  No you will make a few cents a day, horrible waste of time.

Signature campaigns; who else has them and where is the sign-up for this forum's? Sign up in in services forum there are not a ton for brand new accounts but there are a few.

Faucets - Nope, nope and nope.

Signature campaigns - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

There are a few signature campaigns that accept newly joined people but they are quite rare. The above thread is a very good overview.

What some people do is buy a better established account in the digital goods section which should pay for itself rapidly. You need BTC to start with though.

You could keep an eye out for altcoin giveaways. Some might pop and you'd get lucky but I wouldn't put any actual money in. There are also altcoin faucets but you'd need to do your sums to figure out whether they're worth bothering with. I doubt almost all would be any better than Bitcoin ones.

first of all - forget about faucets. they're a huge time waste

Signature campaigns are okay, check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0

there are many payment processors like gourl.io or shapeshift.io - google is your friend here. there are many results

On faucet sites; is it really worth it?  No you will make a few cents a day, horrible waste of time.

Do article writing or rewriting, and you'll earn at least $5 per hour. Try faucets, and the maximum payout will be in the range of $0.10 to $0.20 per hour. Definitely not worth the time and effort.

What type of article writing are you suggesting?  Can you please go into more info on that part.

hell no, 5 per hour is much more than any current signature, for just 8 hours you can come up with 6 btc month

no way you are making 6 btc month here(you can't post forever because at the end there will not be more thread in which you can post)

I would agree it's not going to be sig campaign.  Although I do suggest people join one :).

It just can't image what bryant is talking about.   Typing and paid per hour.   He didn't mention an skills or knowledge needed.  Just sounded to good to be true.  I hope I am wrong.

Happen to play MMOs (or be interested in writing about them in general?). If so, I might be able to take you up on this...

Which MMO's are you referring to?  Seems like a wide variety of games.

And are you looking for writers or wanting to be the writer?

Looking for writers, and I deal with a wide variety of games (including a lot of unreleased/alpha versions for testing/reviewing). I run a MMO-based news/guide/review site. Technically, the focus is on RPGs in general, but primarily MMOs.

I'd be more than happy to take you up on that offer. I have extensive knowledge of MMOs. In the past i have ran several private servers for a few MMOs as well as being a prominent gold farmer / power leveler during college.

So as far as writing about games, i know i could easily have that covered.
PM Me if you'd be interested.

Have you checked on Reddit? There is plenty of contract work available other there, some pay in Bitcoin others not but I think it's definitely worth a look. You can start with these sub-reddits but I'm pretty sure there are tons more that have job listings.

Sent a PM.  I could possibly be interested depending on what it involves and what I would be doing.

Yep, pm'd you and Thunder back, :). Note that I'm looking for someone actually interested in the work, though... not just using it as a way for money. There is a CLEAR difference like night and day, and it won't do either of us any good to fall in that rut.

Faucets to me are just a fun way to spend time. They really don't pay much. however, as others have said, a signature campaign is a good way to earn some BTC!
