I think the price might increase to 700 USD  :D by the end of 2015, which I think is a fair value for the Bitcoins when the market fluctuations stabilize with the spread of news of Bitcoins. What are your price thoughts for Bitcoins by the end of the year 2015?

Difficult. If this has been  the turnaround (in January) and we break above the resistance, then we're in for a rise towards a new ATH. We might end up at $2k+ in that case. Otherwise... I don't know... $1xx? :-/

Yeah, the trend looks promising and look similar to the one which happened earlier that pushed the price beyond 1000$, it can be a possibility  :D

I personally think Bitcoin is the best asset anyone can have atm, it sure will prove many wall streeters wrong  ;D

I think it will try to settle between $400 - $500 which is very reasonable for me. With no news we can't expect much more than that.

Be careful, though. Right now it's a bear-party, again. We'll have to see whether we can go back into the $250s. Although the price holding like it does is pretty promising.

I'd like to see the bear trolls try and crush this rising support line since January.  In fact I double dare them to.

They seem to have run out of ammo as of lately. They know that this is a dangerous game already and they can't continue their shorting party once we've found an even lower bottom, so they most likely already shot all their ammo already :)

i don't know sincerely, but i can't see it surpassing 1k again this year, at least some lucky thing happen, it's all in the hand of the whales right now, if they wantr they can push it pretty easily

I dont know about $700, i think thats a little too optimistic here. Only cause the goal here is 2015 is already almost over like it or not.

We are 1 month away from may, and thats already borderline halfway.  I think at the end of this year it`ll go up and down what we see, and be around a $50 solid increase or $100 difference if some good events keep carrying on with more buyers.

my guess is $700 at most. we are heading towards 2016 which means block halving is comming closer. that will definitely impact the price at the end of 2015

I am a bear so I will have a go. first I think your chart is not the right chart you should be using. I see the only valid starting point for price guesses into the future is the price of $2.27 on oct 19 2011. There was a big jump tp $30 just prior and it went down to this price and rose from there. A year later the price was bouncing around from $8 to $12. after that it is all gox junk data. so that 1 year period is a poor (but the only base)  to use. that means that the annual improvement in that one year was 3.52 times to 5.29 times. using those figures every year/part year gives you values today ie at april 2015 of $116 - $590. Given how rough this calculation is and it breaks every rule I can then only really punt up my "lowest' figure of $116 as maybe something as that might be worth following for investment reasons.
So i think your chart where you are talking about buying bitcoin at $240 type numbers as being a good idea is very very optimistic. buyers doing that  could easily see the bitcoin price halve within 12 months. that is alot of pain   

Coins have traded for high prices for quite some time, even after gox went under. Gox may or may not have inflated the price to a certain degreee, but we didn't need, and still don't need, gox in order to have Bitcoin trade at $1000 again!

This questions is hard to answer, i woul say 400$ because is a fair price for bitcoins but one must always be optimistic, see you at the end of 2015 to see who was right 8)

I've well and truly given up trying to predict anything any more. I'll go for it to bubble up to $100,000 and then back down to $100. That would be quite a firework show.

Like gentlemand I've mostly given up, but it seems that 400 would be a nice sustainable move up from the current level.

There are basically 2 outcomes for Bitcoin: it will break 300 or completely die, because it's too early for it to go flat it's still in the early stage, so its price will keep growing, provided that it will continue to be developed and adopted by the society. I'm not counting on it to die, so 300+ seems to be a plausible outcome ;)

By the end of the year Bitcoin will fully recover, but bubble wont start yet, 350-650, that will be the price range before next bubble.

Currently the biggest threat comes from FED, which will raise the rates for USD in late summer, which will cause USD to further appreciate against everything. As long as bitcoin's value is measured by USD, it will face large pressure going forward this year

Actually the ultimate challenge for bitcoin is to be independent of USD, but as long as people use USD to measure value, this will not change

It would be a bonus if price can maintain within 250 to 300 level. Until the halving kicks in next year, I don't think we'll be expecting something extraordinary to happen unless there's a really big news event to support the price. We'll just have to put hope that bitcoin can hold the line.

Sure they will, because the US economy is totally ready for that. Not going to happen, like all the other times they bluffed. The US will see negative rates soon enough.

They will raise rates this year for sure, but only by 0.25% at first. Not raising rates would send a very negative message so they have to do it even if they don't want to.

My guess is double digits, it'd be a miracle if bitcoin is still $200+ by the year's end.

I can search endless threads of the 2012 crash where people was saying Bitcoin was dead and people saying 100 dollars were mentally insane.

It's really not 59% but 69%. I'd say everyone who voted $300+ was a believer, as it would be a great price for BTC to stabilize at. Only about 30% of voters showed bearish attitude, which is great if you ask me :)
It really doesn't matter if it goes to $500, $800 or $1000 as long as it keeps growing. If I were to get a steady $10 a year growth I'd gladly take it over these $100 swings every 6 months.
