Title: how much would it take to : Post by: Netpyder on April 09, 2015, 12:32:27 PM make an alt coin , its platform, an exchange rate website, and a windows wallet for the alt coin for back and forth transfer?
is there any place where this can be done? and if yes, how to mine the coin then??? Title: Re: how much would it take to : Post by: achow101_alt on April 09, 2015, 01:15:13 PM You can do this by forking any open source altcoin that uses the algorithm you would like to use. Mining that coin can be done by using the "generate" option that is in most of the altcoins that were forked from bitcoin. Alternatively, you can setup any mining software and solo mine the coin.

You could learn a lot with this project, but don't be too sad when the value of your coin is far less than the effort of creating it. There are a lot of alts out there.

An altcoin can be created by forking an existing codes source code, you may hire people on the forum to do this for you.is there any place where this can be done? and if yes, how to mine the coin then??? 2. Platform? Github is free, Nodes are just VPS's, they can be as cheap as $5. 3. You should use an existing exchange unless you want people blaming you for losing coins.
