I just discovered this coin and feel as long as the Dev works hard and comes out with a solid plan on what he wants to accomplish with the coin that it does have the possibility of being a longer staying Altcoin.  Is there POS or anything for this coin or is it straight POW? Also I voted on Cryptsy for this coin but I think we need to get the attention out more about this coin so more people develop an interest in it and also if the Dev could talk to Richie at Bittrex and maybe send an email to Poloniex as well to see about getting listed on those exchanges as well.  I have nothing against Empo-Ex at all, I also have an account there as well, I just notice that exchanges with more volume is where a Dev and team wants to get their coin listed if they want their coin to stay around for a while and not just die out :) Anyways that's just my two cents and Happy Mining and Trading EVERYONE!!

I have plans in motion to drastically increase relevancy of this coin in the crypto currency world, but I felt that these best be excluded from the roadmap until I am confident I can commit to the somewhat ambitious project.


Synchronization should be fairly easy with the 2 hard coded nodes there :)

I definitely could send Richie a message and Tweet about this coin to develop some interest for the coin as well :) About the POS what is the min stake age and the max stake age? also does the POS just automatically click in on its own? I just know some wallets have the little symbol to show that your coins are staking and I don't see anything like that with the wallet for this coin?  I would also maybe look into maybe promoting yourself as a coin that values safety and anything to do with that.  Safety is a huge issue in the world and everyone in every single type of job needs to know about safety.  I'm just throwing ideas out there anyways lol Well I would urge anyone else that is mining this coin to possibly harass and tweet to higher volume exchanges such as Bittrex,Cryptsy and Poloniex.  I know a lot of exchanges determine the coins they list by the demand from the traders so that would be a good start I believe.  Anyways keep us updated there Mr. Dev and good luck with this coin and making it a success :) Cheers

So when exactly does the min age for staking coins begin? I would like to know if anyone has coins staking yet or not and how it works?

Minimum staking age is 30 days. I figured this would be ideal to maintain long-term interest in HazMatCoin.

been keeping a eye on this coin and i have to say i am liking it so far. dev sounds good and with a vision. resolved errors. i like that dev didnt re launch the coin due to a bug but fixed now thats commitment.

i should also point out current supply is under 200k coins and it will take a long time before we hit the max so i think were on a winner here. as price rises mining will become more difficult but still profitable. we haven't hit other exchanges yet and got nice volume on empoex. bittrex might just add it directly. lets see it on yobit, then c-cex then bittrex.

I think he meant short term low supply since less than i think 50k coins are mined a day.

That's the point not many read specs: is a low supply at the moment with a long term mining so the supply is very slow, hashrate keeps growing: only way to get it is mining because is very hard to get any on any exchange unless you buy the whole sell books.

it must have been someone trying to profit. ccex does not really charge to list if there is demand for the coin. the dude pm'd you knows it will be listed on c-cex anyway due to interest. you should reveal that user.

What a crap block explorer. Did you really have to pick that one? It does not lend itself to analysis of the block chain. If you are serious about the coin you should be getting a higher quality explorer.

A dev that is dedicated to the coin will be a good start, and the people will follow,the like of crave and shadow seam to be a good starting point as the markets seems to like these kind of coins,maybe the dark net is cryptos future,as more and more people turn to the dark net.

I agree that a Dev who is transparent and always there answering the communities questions and asking the community what can be done to better the project of the coin is definitely a great start :)  I also think that Crave and Shadow do have some good qualities that make them desirable to the people of the Crypto World but I wouldn't also mind seeing HazmatCoin possibly being used to actually purchase goods or be used in that way somehow :)

You want an idea for your coin to get back on the road dev? Cut the PoW supply down big time.  8)
100M is too much nowadays, doesn't give a nice long term perspective.

Cut the coin supply by half to 50 million coins and get a copy of your github to Richie at Bittrex so he will consider listing it on their exchange and keep pumping out ideas for this coin more and more but definitely those first two things would help this coin really get on track and make a mark in the Crypto World :) Cheers

I'm back. You all have my sincerest for my apparent disappearance. My personal circumstances took a turn for the worst and I felt it was extremely difficult to remain creative and focused, hence I had some offline time.

The website downtime was unknown to me until earlier today, my domain registrar had security concerns as they were unable to reach me concerning the verification of my details.

That's everything back online now though, and the plans to rapidly increase value of HazMatCoin have resumed. I shouldn't be much longer with publishing these changes. I have also read all comments prior to this and have taken the ideas into consideration :)
