i heard about bitcoin in july 2014 and start earnig it from some faucet and website....then its price is 500$-600$.....now its price is 200$-300$
i read somewhere that bitcoin price goes to 10000$ in upcoming year....
i want to know that it is possible... ??? ???

only speculation no one really know, we are guesssing a rise based on the upcoming game changer, like EFT and block halving, which will bring some fresh air

Unfortunately no one can predict the future. If bitcoin becomes widely adopted and a huge success then the price will very likely rise a great deal due to simple supply and demand.

It all depend son how crypto currencies in general develop. If more decent currencies become available and are hedged against BTCX then we could see a price spike. Also if BTC becomes a more favorable asset then it could but if more alternative digital currencies evolved pegged against the USD or other Fiat then it could make the price shrink..other currencies such as UTOKEN and DNOTES are heading for mass adoption as we speak.

bitcoin $10000 upcomming year? not sure where you got this information but your source is not really trustworthy to say the least. i think we're lucky if we see $1000 again, let alone $10000

It might take many years to hit the $1000 mark again. During the past one year or so, the reputation of Bitcoin has gone down the drain as a result of scandals. The Mt Gox scandal alone caused a lot of bad name to the crypto. Undoing all that will be quite hard, if not impossible.

Funny thing is that there are plenty of new commers thinking it will sky rocket anytime soon, and forget to face the reality of the current market.

And what happens if they see the price drop and drop? Yep, it's the fault of Bitcoin of course! Bitcoin receives the blame while people forget to look in the mirror.

$10000 was only speculating as $1000 was two years ago. I guess, if big companies and hedge fonds would get into Bitcoin we can see that price, otherwise not. I am sure this will not happen this year  :D

That is the harsh truth. Our market seems favor only the bad news, positive aspects of bitcoin news are just being ignored. For now price is closer to $200 than it is to $300 and I am afraid that it will go down even further. We won't reach $1000 this year for sure.

Naw. Don't think they'd drop all the way down to a dollar. I also doubt it would ever hit 10k a coin. That would be in a million years.

They will drop until the average cost of production is reached.
If everybody were mining with Antminer S5s at 0.51 J/GH that would be around $150 with today's difficulty.

They completely ignore the basics. The cost of mining bitcoin is getting lower, as more and more sophisticated rigs are being created. There is definitely an oversupply in the market, and the total BTC supply is far greater than that coming from mining alone.

Who will buy Bitcoin for 10000$ and make us become millionaire? even the gold never touch 10000$. Never mind, It's probably going to 100$.

This is will probably never happen. The bitcoin price barely can  stay at $300 level. 10k would be really difficult to hold.

Especially, when Satoshi Nakamoto is throwing his 1 million stored Bitcoins on the market. Most people and investors don't know what a big price risk that would be.

There is a high probability price will be going up, though it's not certain but if you look at how bitcoin has gained popularity and increase in adoption rate over the years, there's every chance we'll see bitcoin going mainstream one day. Looking at the current scenario right now, I would like to keep to a more realistic figure of maybe above 1k.

You run a bitcoin faucet and you haven't bothered to figure out how much there is in comparison to gold?

8 million fresh ounces of gold are mined every year on average. There are nearly 6 billion ounces of gold in the world.

Knowing there has been 650+million minimum invested in this technology and the price is not budging well that is not strictly true because it has budged as it has fell in value  ???

OP anything is possible but to be very honest with you that is not going to happen to many people would be dumping everything they have long before that figure we would be dealing with massive dumps all the way to $1000 not to mention beyond that.

Not sure what could even trigger that kind of rise.
