Newbies and Juniors aren't allowed to add avatars and only exiting members can. However, I do feel that unlike signatures, there shouldn't be price difference for Newbies/juniors as there isn't a signature sort of limit.

Please remember, this is an unofficial campaign as I don't have the time to vet the participants or guarantee the payments. I however have given Snailman a bitcoin to use for his campaign as he sees fit.

Decreased it further now for negative trust accounts ? Anyways, I wasn't anyways going to enroll for now. Price is way too low for negative or any kind of member . I just feel avatars are more aesthetic than signatures, so they should anyways be paid more.

Are you accepting escrow? If not then it probably wouldn't be a very good idea to join as there is a good chance participants will not get paid

Don't worry. I don't think rates of this campaign are good enough to made people give up on their avatars. I would definitely keep my avatar for now, if the rates were much higher I would reconsider this offer, for now there is no way for me to apply.

What rates do you think would be fair?

For the normal users, I would suggest offering atleast 0.01/week for around 15 posts. You got 1 BTC from moneypot. You are just offering around 0.002/week, for an avatar, which I believe is more appealing to the eyes than a signature. But in the end you or moneypot is to decide.

I was thinking the same. 0.01BTC per week and you can also have the text under the avatar. Seems fair to me since Avatars are more noticeable than signatures. Also posting limit if you dont want to pay over a certain amount. Like minimim is 15 maximum is 50 and per post is 0.00067

1 BTC is meant to last more than just a month of two xD. 0.002/week for just 15 posts = 0.008/month or so for just 60 posts. I personally think that's fair enough! 0.01/week is crazy in my eyes. This isn't a signature campaign. There is no clickable links. Even then, I think signature campaigns overpay too much.

This week is going to stay as 0.002 for the normal, and 0.004 for the more dedicated posters. Right now there's no competition, but if I see this becomes a new trend I may consider competing. Where else can you get paid up to 0.016/month for changing your avatar?

On a different note, there's new avatars to choose from.

If they raise monthly rate then i would also consider it but as it stands that is a very small amount to rent something that is personal to the member, you could raise it and ask that the link is under the avatar maybe?

I agree. For BTC0.004 per 50 posts per week that is only 0.00008 BTC or less than 2 cents per post. However the rates for 15 posts is higher than that. Don't you encourage high posters? If I joined then I would only post 15 per week!

I can definitely see sig campaigners rejecting people with sold avatars, like marco is doing (it's marco, not macro, by the way) with bit-x. I actually kind of like that, but it will probably end up with each sig campaign giving out a bonus for their own avatar ad. It'll be interesting to see how everything plays out in the long run.

i know, in fact with signature you can make ten time the amount i'm proposing(1 btc per month), so 1/10 should be about right imho

Just a reminder for everyone to please make sure they are pre-paid, or otherwise willing to trust snailman. My understanding is that snailman used and lost the campaign money gambling, but intends to continue to fund this campaign using his future earnings.

If you are trusted, then I think he will send you the amount before you put the avatar, so there shouldn't be a risk that way .

Avatar is enabled for all members sometime ago. I think 2011 or earlier

I think that the site owners need to make new avatars. I personally am tired of seeing the same avatars over and over everyday. They are not hard nor expensive to make, and everyone knows, when someone see's something new, they have to check it out. That's common buisness saavy. So I ask, why not update the avatars once per month?

How is this campaign goes on? It failed? Is someone receiving payouts from them? (It is already 10 days from the last post)
BTW I still think 0.016 per month isn't a good offer, though.

Thank you. This is the first I have heard of this since I pay no thought to 0.002. I do like Bustabit is why I don't check this thread. I'm not really concerned with 0.002, but I will change my avatar because of the alleged accusations against the OP.
