According to a Defense Department approved “sexism course,” the Bible, the U.S. Constitution and the Declaration of Independence all contribute to modern sexism.

Those three cherished texts all count as “historical influences that allow sexism to continue,” according to a presentation prepared by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute, whose mission is to give a ”world-class human relations education.”




According to the course, the Bible has “quotes” which can be interpreted as sexist by readers.

The Declaration of Independence is also an historical cause of sexism, as the document refers only to ”all men” — not “men and women.”

And the Constitution, the Pentagon argues, is an historical source of sexism because “slaves and women were not included until later in history.”

Of course, members of the Armed Forces take an oath to defend the Constitution — which is, according to the DEOMI course, an “historical influence that allows sexism to continue.”

“The content of the lesson is provided to generate academic discussion concerning how these historical documents have been included in discussions about the topic of sexism,” Lt. Cmdr. Nate Christensen, a Defense Department spokesman, told The Daily Caller.

But following TheDC’s request for comment, the sexism course — as well as two other courses listed on DEOMI’s website, entitled “Prejudice & Discrimination” and “Racism” — were taken offline.

“This course is currently offline and under revision,” a notice says under all three courses.




Asked about the sudden update, Christensen replied, “DEOMI online materials are periodically pulled to review to ensure accuracy and relevance. The racism, sexism and Prejudice & Discrimination are currently undergoing that review process.”

TheDC obtained copies of all three courses prior to their removal.

I don't think the Quran is relevant in the history of the USA.

It's funny how they say the Bible quotes have to be "misinterpreted" and taken "out of context" to be considered sexist.

Freud based everything on sex. All we do in life revolves around sex.

When God created the earth, He made everything perfect. Even the giving of free will to mankind was based in complete perfection.

Mankind was not supposed to use his free will to cause imperfection. Free will was there for a different purpose. Yet, mankind used his free will to cause imperfection in the universe. God, Who can't stand imperfection, is creating another universe, a place where he will take those of mankind who want to remain in perfection, even though they are caught up in imperfection in this life.

God is allowing sex to be the main thing in this universe. The reason for this is so that all the individual identities He created prior to the beginning of this universe, might have the chance to exist and live for a time. This will give them the chance to make their choice... perfection or imperfection... live with God in the new universe, or be destroyed along with this imperfect one.

That is why everything revolves around sex. It is so that the souls of mankind that have not had a chance to live might have the chance, before God destroys this universe.

The three documents listed above are small when compared with all the other writings of mankind. And it all points to sex, so that people can be given the chance to live. It is built right into the universe as things stand now.

What is sex now, might have been something else in the perfect time before imperfection entered. But now, because of imperfection, the coming destruction, and the new universe, sex as it is now is of vital importance to give every soul a chance to live.

Sure there were a few immigrants, but the founders and leaders they came mainly, or even exclusively, from a Christian background.

I'm just curious about the conclusion. Are these dangerous things should be banned or "modernized"  ::)?

We the Christians, thought we had it made. We became lax. The enemy sneaked in and took over. It is evident from what the police are doing right inside America. It's time that we the Christians wake up and stand up, and set things right. I guess it's just an acknowledgment of reality, it's nothing new, those documents have been around for long time...

Not all were Christians. Some were atheists, but I am not an historian. You'll need to dig that yourself to know if I am right or wrong.

What matters is what this president and his administration believe, not to be afraid to be ridiculed saying it...

Yes, atheists, deists, but I'm sure they were raised in some Christian denomination or had close contact with Christians, not Muslims.

Obama is doing what politicians do, in this case talking to a Muslim crowd trying to find something in common with them.

That 'muslim crowd' is definitely not the young iranians who got killed trying to fight off their oppressors... He made a deal with them.

When Jefferson said "all men are created equal", he wasn't including black slaves and women. He was still a brilliant, radical 'libertarian' compared to other wealthy people of his day.

... And even a visionary with "once you go black, can't go back..."? :)
