Even if you can somehow prove that your coinbase/bitstamp/ect account requires you to deposit BTC to the address that you posted, it would be impossible for the buyer to then transfer that information to a seller when they decide to go and sell the account, so they would likely not be able to find a buyer.
If this account is really not hacked then I would suggest posting an address that you are able to sign a message from, posting from the account for several months and then try to sell the account. You can do a forum search for the address in question and if you posted it then it should show up. I do remember signing a message for marcotheminer for a small loan a long time ago so it must be there somewhere. If you had signed a message for a lender and the signed message is in your outbox then you can use that address to sign a new message.
