Post by: DeathAndTaxes on August 22, 2012, 06:32:18 PM Wires "usually" (nothing is guaranteed or simple in the fiat banking world) have flat rate fees. $40 sounds about right (between what you bank charges, interim bank charges, and MtGox charges). It may vary somewhat depending on the banks involved but $30 to $80 is normal. $40 on $10,000 wire makes a lot more sense than $40 on $300 wire. Really wires are intended for very large transfers that need to be funded rapidly.
