Are there even Bitcoin based TV shows out there? I live in Europe and I did not see anything bitcoin connected - apart from occasional documentary or really short bitcoin related news on TV.
Do you guys have maybe youtube link with "Bitcoin based Tv show" I can see?

I'm also interested in knowing a youtube channel that aggregates all of the best bitcoin TV shows.

That would be great. I think it's called a playlist on youtube. Someone who could quality check videos before putting them on their playlist. Then you view their playlist.

Are there any? I din't know about them. It will be really interesting to watch Bitcoin based TV shows.

I haven't seen one, but the only TV shows I would count in would be documentaries like the Rise and Rise, and something on the Silkroute.
There isn't really anything else to spin off a tv show based on bitcoin alone.

BTW. When I say TV show. I also mean YouTube show. I watch YouTube in 1080p on my TV so often that I call YouTube shows, TV shows.

So what's the best YouTube/TV show.

i have seen nearly every documentary on youtube regarding bitcoin. some of them are well made and others just don't know what they are talking about. is there a serious documentary released this year?

Im giving a vote to Mad bitcoins since nobody else has, even though it seems to have ended now.  Was always fun to watch.

Very interesting Idea. Not the typical Bitcoin ideas. Very impressive idea on how to create new users for any decentralized app including Bitcoin.

I've been following Mad Bitcoins since the begining. It's a good way to get a resume of important crypto news quickly, even tho the voice of the guy can get annoying sometimes but the show is short enough that it does not become a problem.

Anyway, there are many interesting and informative videos available on YouTube about Bitcoin. Many of them are great for newbies to become familiar with Bitcoin and some of them have content that could be useful for more advanced users as well. Not everyone learns best by reading massive walls of text. Some people are just naturally more comfortable when information is delivered via visual means. It is these videos that OP is referring to.

Also related are podcasts, which Bitcoin has quite a few. Although perhaps that would be more suited for another thread.

I would say podcast are more suited for another thread. Video is totally different than solely voice for me.

I would call a TV show anything that's visual and is running with episodes structure at a set schedule. The schedule part matters less and less as people become binge watchers. Having a set schedule is pretty nice though. It gives something to look forward to when you know next Thursday at 7pm is another episode. It gives the show more anticipation time. You know it's coming.


If only there was a real Bitcoin TV show! Like on a national TV station.

Wondered what happened to thebitcoinchannel youtube channel.  It has like 12k subscribers, i used to watch all the episodes i guess the guy who does it felt like these isnt much else to talk about until we make a giant jump into the mainstream?

Ross Ulbricht was convicted of seven felony counts on February 4, 2015 , based on the accusation that he created and operated the anonymous online marketplace Silk Road, under the pseudonym Dread Pirate Roberts (DPR). The government cites no victims for any of these alleged crimes or their other allegations.

He has been sentenced to life in prison despite numerous amounts of evidence that Dread Pirate Roberts was more than one person, including evidence that Mark Karpeles of Mt. Gox fame was DPR at some time and set Ross up.

Approximately two months after Ross was convicted, it was revealed that two federal agents at DHS Baltimore had been under investigation for nine months, for allegedly stealing and extorting funds from Silk Road, among other crimes.

You guys should probably add documentaries related to bitcoin. Can't think of any tv show airing about bitcoin. But plenty of documentaries out there on bitcoin. Rise and Rise of bitcoin comes to mind. Even some of the recent shows on the silk road are interesting to watch.

I have no idea that there are tv shows that portrays or offers bitcoin as a theme. I am thankful that I read this comment. I will search some tv show on the net as well as watch. I will share some shows later including some links if there are. Well I though that there are no existing tv shows on bitcoin its just that I once believed that Australia is the first tv to showcase bitcoin in a gameshow later this year.

I have not seen any of them yet, are they talk shows or news desks? Would search them on youtube and see what do they talk about... could be informative I guess.
As BTC is not so popular in our country yet, so no chance of viewing them on TV any soon.

i dont know that views about bitcoin are telecasted in TV shows, as bitcoin is not familiar to everyone in my country there is no possibility for that. if such shows exist in my country it will be good for bitcoin to become popular.

I don't even know that there is Bitcoin based tv show..All I know is once you involve in this industry you will only trade and buy the digital different currencies. Besides in my country bitcoins is not popular in all channels we have here. And all I know is there are some countries are applying the system of bitcoin  like australia, canada and china. :)

I have watches a few of these shows before, but where can I find a lot of the others.  I have hard enough time finding legit sites to talk about bitcoin on the internet, I would love to watch more shows which will help me learn and at the same time allow me to show others who do not understand bitcoin.

I think now there is no TV shows that have good quality. my opinion should merge the TV program so that they can join to build a larger force again. with it they could have a strong human resources.

I would like to see some one get Bitcoin on the Mad Money show!!  I would love to know what people like him think about bitcoin.  I know there was some shows a lot earlier, when silk roads went down, that discussed the bitcoin, but I would like to see what they say about it now!  Also if you could get it onto one of these high respected television shows, you never know where it would skyrocket!

I'm actively following Let's Talk Bitcoin as soon as they release new ones, They aren't as you would want them to but it's still better than nothing... I also like the TV remarks about BTC in popular shows, Not that they are deep or anything but just fun to hear about something you are familiar with.

Haven't followed any bitcoin based channels till now, actually i just watch random videos regarding blockchain and bitcoin. Found this topic quite intresting, i think including youtube link to all the channels listed for voting in OP will be good.

Does bitcoin show appear in TV  ::) , I knew this first time that bitcoin show appear on TV too.  It should be great if the show appear in our country's channel or in National geographic channel or discovery. I am excited to watch the show.

Never seen something being broadcasted on TV based on bitcoin, i don't know if the channels are not available here or the shows have been closed now.
