Title: [WTS] BFL Monarch's X 24.
Post by: smracer on April 17, 2015, 06:47:57 PM
I have 24 BFL Monarch's for sale.  I would like to sell them all at once but will entertain offers.  I am in Dallas TX.

BTC only.  They run at 700GH each but you have to keep them under 70F or they will slow down.

Power Supplies not included.  These were some of the first Monarch's produced.  My lowest serial number is 003.

I added fans on the front of them to keep them cooler.  I can leave them or remove them.

I will only ship to the USA unless you buy all of them and I can ship them on a pallet.

As all ways I love seeing your setups, The best deals are in the U.S. which counts me out, it would cost more to ship and import duties than what i will ever mine on them.

Best of luck on he sale.  8)

Just as a general question and a free bump:

What type of power efficiency do these guys actually get? BFL claims a pretty weird range (0.65-0.85 +- 10%) on their website, and I don't trust their word for shit. So far I haven't seen any of them field-tested with a kill-a-watt.

I just bought one and tested the power usage.  I am using a cx750m bronze 80+ power supply.  The numbers I got with no tweaking for efficiency where around

1watt per Gh at the wall with 120V.  Kill-a-watt was 780W,  hash rate was 786Gh.

Thanks helipotte, that's some grade-a bullshit from BFL, as per usual. Completely misses advertised specs.  ;)
Sorry for hijacking the thread OP. I'll see myself out.

If it was pulling 780w on a 750w power supply the efficiency was probably shit. If it was ran on an 850 gold i bet it would pull less.

Most likely.  The CX750M is only a "bronze" rated power supply.  Also the unit I have responded well to tweaking.  Now doing 815GH@750W.

Smracer,  good luck with your sales.  I might pick up a few from you. :)

All of these are still available, thought we had a pending deal, but it fell thru.  Taking offers or I may be forced to sell these back to BFL hahahahah!
