Title: [Closed] Buying Silver (Bullions and Coins)
Post by: Niann on August 23, 2012, 10:39:49 PM
Worldwide shipping necessary.

Post pictures with prices (including international shipping to south america), cheers and thank you.
P.S.: Not looking for rare coins, just regular old silver that can be melted without losing it's price.

My friend has a huge bag of 80% silver quarters and dimes from canada. If you are interested, I can pick them up for you tomorrow.

He also has 1976 and 1988 olympic silver collectible coins at melt value.

Thanks, but I am looking for pure silver, or as near as I can get.
But if you can get some pictures going, that would be nice.

Ok I grabbed all his olympic silver coins.  They are 0.925 fine silver, for $10 face value coin is about $40, and the $5 face value coin is about $25.

all the coins:

I am not sure which ones I have, I can always look but the only thing I care about is the silver. Some are dinged up, but most are in their case in near mint condition.

I'm looking to be able to melt the silver, so face value does not do for me.
Thanks anyways.

I think you misunderstood. The face value is just there to make the coin legal tender, but after all it is still a collectible and it's silver content is worth much more than it's face.
