How does a Bitcoiner from Spain get The Pirate Bay https://twitter.com/tpb to be their very first follower on Twitter when tpb follows only approximately 25% of their followers? I took a screenshot, and the only way to have it removed from his list is to either ignore tpb or tpb opts to unfollow him. My guess is that eGenesis uses their lawyers address as their registered office (the phone numbers of the two entities don't match and they don't appear to have common principals). That's an extremely common thing for businesses to do (sometimes they use the address of their accountants rather than their lawyers). Andrew Tepper's personal phone number is given for emergency technical support for the game, so he has access to the server and the server is located in the US (even though the domain is registered through a Paris entity). Nothing particularly flaky is standing out for me about this. |
