now i am not sure if he was trying to scam but i'l let users decide.

trading btc for $20 ukash

we decided to use localbitcoin as escrow.

i opened trade. local bitcoin is now holding my btc. i ask him to send code then once funds are approved il release payment.

he says i should release payment first then ukash code is given. my history on LBC and my account is way better than his.

i think this was a scam attempt but not 100% sure as ive never traded ukash online for btc through localbitcoin.

my reason for posting this  is so one of the experienced traders decide whether it was or not. if it was please leave a note to warn others

thanks

offer cancelled il go to shop and get it

the user i was trading with was vishwaratna

Never release fund on LBC or any escrow. Then what is the benefit of escrow if you do release before getting fund.

my thoughts are the same. if someone trusted could leave him feedback to warn others not to trade with him without escrow that will help. i'l provide the chat log on localbitcoins of him requesting to release funds without the code if necessary to the trusted member.
