The collateral is worth more than 125% of the requested amount. Only according to the current LTC price of 0.00625076.

I could provide some more alt coins as collateral but I'm confident that 125% with litecoin is enough. I'll only take the loan from a reputable member, so please don't send anything to the above address before I give you the OK.

How could an escrow secure this loan? By holding the collateral until payback/default?

Also, if you're trusted I don't require an escrow but we could use one if you feel that it's necessary.

You are on default trust and he most likely is looking to get the loan from someone on default trust so he knows his collateral is safe can buy trust

edit: I am not sure why so many people are jumping at this when he isn't offering to pay any interest. The lack of interest payment means that the loan is not going to be worth your time, you are still taking (a small amount of) risk, and you will still need to pay a tx fee

Yes the escrow would hold the collateral and will return it until you repay the loan.

is this not the case with most loans being requested around here? some users who frequently ask for small loans and pays back to receive trust ratings from lenders. i think some lenders should be more conservative with giving out trust ratings epsecially when its just small amounts are involved in loan or transactions.

Yes. I generally have adopted the practice of not giving out trust for smaller loans as of recently unless I otherwise deem them to be trustworthy. Although I think a lot of the loans requested on here are actually for gambling

As of the fees. I'll cover any potential fees. This includes potential escrow fees.

And don't worry my tip to the lender will be big enough, transaction fees are insignificant.

since you are offering 125% of the loan, you ar at risk here and not the lender.
of course the collateral % will change in time so the time term is also important IMO

this is normal rule by most lenders that either user put up more collateral in case the value of collateral down
