Seems to be back up, but it's a good reminder that we need alternatives for every service in the bitcoin ecosystem. Now however, I will be using each exchanges individual API. In the long term I am thinking about creating a bitcoincharts like API. Yeah - using their API seems like a recipe for flakiness. Keep it as independent as possible.
