Limitation on temporary bans is to do with a limitation of the ancient software still in use by this forum. EDIT: Moderators can make recommendations only and will have admins then act. Exactly because scam(s) are not moderated by the forum staff, the BFL question is about another thing... everyone can open his discussion here (and post his valid proofs) but the unique rule here in the forum is " don't spamm" also if you are try to protect the other users. Thank you for this thread, I think Theymos needs to be aware of this because it is possible mods from here were a part of this and something must be done about it. I am so glad the truth has come out. I tried to save the emails but lost them when BCT went down a couple of months ago.
