     1 unit got hot powering S1's and the male/female pins got melty, works, but needs work

NEW IN BOX - Controller with 4 rotary dials (blue black lit) for fan speed. This is a powered controller, so you can add a second fan then control the power/speed as needed. It takes 2/3/4 pin fans. Looks cool, powered so it won't tax or add or confuse with PWM or other nonsense. Perfect way to add some fan speed during the day and slow them down at night when cooler. Really neat setup.

Also! 1x 2pack of SP120 Corsair HP fans. They are nice and quiet and will do the trick, but using the fan controller and another SP120 or SanAce would make it a go.

I lied about the HX PSU, I sold that.

I do have 2x CX750M's and 1x CX750M with the mentioned melty but working power out.

I have the fan controller if you want to add powered fans with rotary speed dials at your fingers.

original fans will be re-installed. two of the machines have the SP120s on them as I had rear pull fans and a nice cold air feed.

miners stayed low 60's

I have been following S5s on ebay for a few weeks and they have been selling for $350 - $400 shipped.  After ebay and paypal fees, the seller is taking home $325 - $350 PLUS whatever it costs them to ship.  So a $300 offer is definitely a bit on the low side, but not that far off.

I agree with him I can offer $315 (each) for all (3) units I will provide my own UPS shipping labels for you to use I could do the power supply if you wanted to throw that in for another $100 otherwise I have plenty of those

I would have to agree with the seller. Iv'e been watching them for the last two weeks. Show me an S5 on ebay thats going for under 400$ BIN and i'll buy 10 of them. But you wont. So neither will I  ;D

Keep in mind you can get them new for $340 + shipping directly from BitMain and you get 90 days warranty. Shipping to the US takes about 3 days.

Has anyone confirmed they are indeed shipping at the time of purchase tho? I see the BFL run around of getting a product three to nine weeks later.


That been said the market is what we make it. We are the demand. If they are going for 400 on ebay there's a reason. High demand and little supply.


I called bitmain twice a day everyday for a week to confirm their delivery schedule. Never got an answer. Bitmain sells to big farms. They don't care about one or two units. Big customer orders will always be prioritized over your smaller customer. Ebay 'Buy It Now' with a seller that had units 'IN HAND' for me was a safer bet to get up and hashing right away and i was willing to pay the extra 60$ for it.

yes i ordered from bitmain directly. they shipped out within 24 hours.. or maybe 30 or something but they were pretty good

You asked for offers, people gave you offers, and frankly not very far from what you sold for if you pull out PSUs, so in the end you received exactly what people were offering.. Perhaps you were the only one that didn't know what they were worth?

I would imagine the price break came as said person bought the whole package?

You got a good deal mate, the S5's are cheaply made and I've had several of my units fail after just a few weeks after putting them into service. Glad you sold them!

Then you should pay me the money you owe me still from when you purchased them originally. Thank you.
