Title: Which is the best wallet?
Post by: knight22 on August 28, 2012, 02:32:11 AM
I'm actually using bitcoin-qt but I don't think it is the best one. Can someone who tried a lot of wallet tells me which one is the best? I want to change for a lite weight.

http://blockchain.info/wallet/. Hosted but encrypted client side and has some really nice features, along with being able to access from any computer including your phone.

Yeah I already have one open with blockchain.info but I would like to have one stored only in my CPU.

I use Armory on an offline box for long term storage, Armory online for more frequent, larger transactions, the Satoshi client for smaller transactions, and the Blockchain.info mobile app.

I believe armory is highly recommended.  I have downloaded it but need to work out how to use it.  The offline piece seems good.

Multibit is pretty easy, even a beginner can store coins and backup wallets without big issues, or run the client on a external drive. Quick and uncomplicated.

hi Adir what is good if you download Multibid on a small usb flashdrive than you copy your privat key onto the same drive after that you download true crypt and encrypt the whole flash drive.
Good to make 2 sticks for backup.
After you run the Multibid from your stick password protected and encrypted.
