After readng through this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1038549.0, I was thinking...

The market is bearish, and there's no BT*cough*, money to be made.  So I think it would be best for us to relax until the next bull run occurs.  When that happens, people will come again.  And that means, there's new money coming in the crypto economy.  And that means it's open season.  And that means war.   :D

Until then, can we keep everything nice and civil?

The reason there are so much fuds is because many of the altcoins are scam.
There are many people who lost their btc in all the scam altcoin. They are frustrated and are jealous of the few promising altcoins.

A question I have been pondering ( I'm still learning, bear with me here :-* ):

If so many altcoins are found out to be scams, why are they still traded on exchanges?

Someone asked me this, and I replied with 'because they still held value in other people's opinion'.  I did add that it was just my guess, but now it's keeping me up at night!

People shout 'scamcoin here' or 'scamcoin there' and I travel to Poloniex (or any trading site) only to see their value jumping drastically or pitfalling...

The real reasons is there is limited BTC to go around and competition is fierce, and FUD is also a shady way to create a dip to buy in -- Protecting people from scams is about the last thing on any of their minds, and since everything gets labeled "SCAM," people ignore the warnings when they are real and they should be paying attention.
