many ico's on exchanges or with an escrow are scams, it really doesnt make much difference, the btc ends up in developers hands regardless.

investments are personal choices and i understand if you choose not to invest, however on the first of may i will be launching wallet, roadmap, blockchain and source.

Watching this coin, lately I bought in on many coins with escrow and indeed, not a big succes anyway, so don't care in escrow anymore unless it gives a big buy wall by escrow, but that is just C-Cex thing

With escrow you can be sure coin will launch at least and dev will not run with BTC before release.
Of course everycoin has risk. But without escrow risk is a lot higher.
It is like "Hey, give me your BTC and maybe I will launch coin. Maybe not. Who knows. But you must to send me your BTC anyway." :)

Ok, guys. I had conversation with dev via PM. Seems like he won't run ICO if there not much interest. This means coin will launch withou ICO and it will be simply POW.
Will wait for launch. Good to know, dev cancelled ICO and won't scam community.

would just like to share what i said to shadowrunner, the ico is to contribute towards some of the developments we have planned which you will see on our roadmap on launch on friday. the EPY team arent bothered how the ico goes. the ico will run until launch but if there is less than 5btc interest btc will be returned if people send and ico scrapped. the coin will then be 100% pow with no premine at all.

a big thanks to 16 people so far who have invested in the ico, we didnt really expect many investors at all as the ico wasnt the main focus, either you smell profit or you see the potential but from the empyrean team we would like to thank you.

today the ico end and we launch wallet, roadmap, explorer and the pools we have setup will be open for business in about 8 hours of writing this. if the ico reaches the 5btc we will have the coins distributed as soon as people message me with the details needed (you can download the epy wallet for epy address) and we should have the process complete within 3/4 hours.

deepest apologies, our coin was fully functional but we screwed up with the difficulty retarget, at one point blocks were taking less than a second to complete, theres only 100k coins with 50k mineable, we have to make the coin sustainable so that people who got in in the first 15 minutes arent the only people that profit.

we are resetting the coin right now, i will set a relaunch countdown for 2 hours from now, once again sincerest apologies

so what will happen now, ppl who mined captioned blocks will have much larger number of coins compare to the others ? so how you'll proportion block rewards ?

Seems like a failed relaunch, no pools running... Just another coin to the waste it seems like.

again apologies for the delays, as an active member in the community i get agitated and annoyed when things are delayed but when you are on the development end its really difficult. not only do you have to actually sort out your coin as quickly as possible but there is pressure from the community.

We are working as quickly possible to sort it out, we've only failed once and failure is ok, it would have been irresponsible and against the reasons we launched the coin to keep it out there with such easy mining when the coin is meant to be a rarity. plenty of big coins right now like tron and crave had bugs at the start and if they had listened to people saying give up, they wouldnt be where they are today

investments are personal choices and i can understand why the coin might not appear appealing right now but we are continuing to work on the coin regardless of the levels of support we recieve from the community, its good to voice your opinion and i respect peoples judging of the coin but i ask that you dont overly spam the thread, we will have a fix as soon as possible

Wallet not working - you have to delete Checkpoint 1 (not 0) or your nodes have to be on block 1 and not 0 :)

apologies for the disaster of a launch that occurred yesterday, today we are going to start afresh with the code, we had everything functioning minus difficulty retarget and then as we worked as quickly as we could to fix it all we get sloppy and done very little testing.

we aim to have the coin fully functioning within the next two days, i will give everyone some notice before launch though if anyone is still interested

for now in regards to the ico, people can recieve thier ico funds back if they want, we are not trying to scam we've just been really unfortunate. just private message me an address to send to, i have a list of who sent what so it shouldnt be too hard to refund.

for people who wish to remain in the ico, you will still be entitled to the coins you would have got if the share was for the complete 50k so for example if your share was 3400 coins you would still recieve these coins, nothing less or more if people pull out. it just makes for a higher percentage to be mineable

in the meantime please delete all wallets/source and files in roaming for empyrean just because they are useless

i will be bringing regular updates as often as i can with as much info as i can, once again apologies for the shamble of a launch but my team will be continuing to work on the relaunch and i believe that together we can take this coin further than the moon once the coin is fully working
